So many frustrating things happening that I just have to blame it on Mercury Retrograde 🙃 I purchased an expensive item that didn’t live up to it’s expectations and it could have helped out my present dilemma a lot otherwise I wouldn’t have spent the money.
I’ve asked for a refund but apparently it’s gone to a Dispute Claim which could take months to resolve
What is the chance I’ll get the refund

There’s definitely been a lot of confusion over this and also the bank tells me the money was only in a pending position and the transaction hadn’t actually gone through so No Completion as Line 1 suggests.
I did purchase a different item with a different company that’s so much what I wanted so that did make me laugh out loud and maybe I did clap my hands in excitement....the rest of the line in Hilary’s commentary I’m not so sure about and Following I wonder if that just means it’s being followed up.

I'd say the chances are good you will get the refund, but you might have to "call out" to get confirmation (i.e. contact your bank again, contact the company again etc. to clarify things). If the transaction hadn't gone through, can you cancel it from the bank's end or do a chargeback?

Thanks Kash that’s how I tried to do it - cancel it through the bank but they said they have to investigate the transaction and it could take a couple of months.
