On looking for work (Hex 62.3 to 16)

I'm looking for a job at the moment, just a job where I don't think too much.
I'm not in it for a career. I asked the Yi what I need to do to find a job that I can be comfortable with and will last for a while and I got Hex 62.3 changing into Hex 16.

I'm not sure how to connect the two hexagrams 62.3 seems to be saying be cautious and watch your back and then enthusiasm?

Would appreciate if someone could help me clarify what this could possibly mean?

I think it may mean that your idea of what you want may not serve you. I think Hilary says it can be about not getting too stuck in an entrenched position in regard to something. It may help to re examine the underlined statements.

perhaps these requirements may actually go against you in your search....you could ask about defining them another way. You say you want something where you don't think...could be this is like shooting yourself in the foot, placing yourself at the mercy of exploitation. LOL that does sound a bit over dramatic....but one thing is for sure you really do need to be thinking with 62.3. The line specifically warns about not thinking...so I wouldn't make not thinking your goal if I were you


Come to think of it taking jobs one doesn't have to think about never paid off IMO. They are boring. Start thinking and don't look to not think...its quite a line of warning and in general hex 62 requires we pay much attention, that we are careful, that we think meticulously. The consequences of not doing this at this time are shown in 62.3....he gets attacked from behind...which isn't literal here of course,,,but you may be taken off guard where actually you need to wake up and pay attention to every little detail.

Perhaps Yi is saying this goal of yours to take a non thinking job is not a great idea...maybe get ajob that at least engages you in the general direction you wish to go....but don't be expecting to fall asleep ....really don't
