I’ve moved to a new town for a job opportunity and I’ve been fortunate enough to get share accommodation as a temporary measure but I’m not all that comfortable living here as the owner is upset I’m not interested in him romantically and sometimes makes inappropriate comments about women in general. Otherwise it’s a great place to live and although I’ve been looking for alternative accommodation I keep coming up against obstacles ie. rental is gone or I have to wait to inspect property etc. Why is there a delay in me finding my own place to rent 30.5.6>49....there is no tears needed to be shed that I’m aware of as I feel no sadness nor regret Line 2 suggests a definite need to get away from my present situation. Looks like the reading is just a reflection.

30.5.6 to 49 ~ There are many who are (unhappily) looking right now: the rental market is hot.

It appears, imho, that jobs paying $15/hr, or so, are 'good enough' to shift people from the basement of their parents home into the rental market...

...and lots of young folks ~ releasing caged anger ~ are currently flooding the rental markets in a mad dash for freedom?

So, it's a cut-throat market, at the moment, but it will change? You will do yourself good long term favor, if you can be patient and gentle in your search?

In the meantime, you're moving with the herd, so to speak...

So, it's a cut-throat market, at the moment, but it will change? You will do yourself good long term favor, if you can be patient and gentle in your search?

It's been over a month and even though I have moved to other temporary accommodation (which quite frankly isn't much better for its own reasons) I've still been looking out for my own place to rent.
As it turns out a place I had my eye on a month ago, but I could never make it to their inspection times, is still available and finally they've agreed to let me have a personal inspection time with a time that suits me tomorrow morning.
So perhaps by being patient as radiofreewill suggested this will work out in my favour!!
