Yeah, I think that being 'in tune with the cosmos' is not a very concious thing. So, knowing more about anything can not help. A lot of people don't believe in any sort of God and may have never heard of him and they might live what we would consider 'blessed' lives.

Hi Chris,

You wrote that I see 'consciousness as originating'.

If you mean awareness, perhaps. But awareness, as it manifests in organisms, doesn't correspond to high energy. Both too high and too low energy levels are detrimental. There is an optimum, somewhere in between.
The same for XOR. Too much of it and the fragmentation that results impedes awareness. Too many unconnected variables to deal with.
So there is perhaps a semantic issue here. Consciousness = awareness?

"you need to go wider, to recognize the WHOLE of your being rather than a high energy part. THAT part is your crutch in that it stops you from surrendering to the instincts/habits that good training develops and so allows for one to trust those instincts/habits."

That is good advice, I think, for those of us who have a tendency to always seek the mountain top, the spiritual 'highs' and avoid the physical, the instinctive, the valley. But that is not my 'crutch', not at all.
In a sense you sometimes seem more on the mountain top than many of the 'spiritual' people I know. The rarefied air of vague abstractions .. How 'instinctive' are you, really?
Anyway, whatever you may or may not be, I have a lot of fun with you. Thanks!

"God is also all the crappy things that happen to us, which means all those other kinds of energy as well."

Yeah, but check out what the medieval mystics had to say about that. I've been looking into some of their stuff recently, and they're light years ahead of most of us. Ahead of me anyway. Light years.

Btw, Lightangel, I saw in another thread that you have forgiven me.
kiss.gif

I didn't laugh AT you, though. "your image here" was funny

at that point in the conversation. And I thought that you perhaps did it on purpose!

Awww... now I feel bad for forgiving you...
But it seemed the right thing to do after I forgave Dobro, although.... he needed more forgiveness than you, he stuck his tongue at me a few times. How rude is that!?

You have quite a repertoire of pictures and emoticons all of your own!

Am I the wreck and you are the moose?
lol.gif

Feeling very guilty now, sob.

Well, if you right-click on a picture you can copy it to your harddisk, if you like.
Is that enough for you to at least begin to consider to forgive me?
You might also consider what may happen to you if you don't forgive me:

(copied that from a post by Demitra, quite some time ago, cute uh?)

Very cute, but I think of myself as the alligator. You can't win all the time!!!

Oh well, after a good night's sleep I feel much more generous, I do forgive you!!!

But is there anyway you can have the pictures as clipart, where they are 'previewable'?

Wait, wait!!!

I know what happened!

When I first saw your post it had a "your picture here" LOL!!!

And then I went back to it and it had the picture already!

You edited your post!!!

I have not been able to find the way to edit posts!
If you show me how.... I'll let you be the alligator.

Ah, here comes:

1. Click 'edit profile' on the left of this page (below 'utilities')
2. Enter name + password and click 'login'
3. On the page that appears choose 'preferences' (top of the page, below 'profile editor options')
4. Enable 'show list of my most recent posts when editing my profile' (if it is already enabled goto 8)
5. Click 'save profile changes'
6. Click 'edit profile' again, as in 1
7. Enter name + password and login, as in 2
8. Now you will see a list of your recent posts a bit further down the page and you can click 'edit' to edit them ..

I guess this is because posts that are older than 6 hours (don't know exactly, something like that) can no longer be edited.
Perhaps try your last post?
Anyway, there is nothing wrong with you at all!

I bet you didn't know I was a poet!

But... what does a 'fast mercury' mean???? Is it bad??? Is it deadly????

WOW, thank you!

A fast mercury - quick grasp of things. Some astrologers believe that it correlates with the speed of the planet mercury at birth. Don't know if that is true. In any case, placement in sign and aspects are also important.

Soeone with a genius IQ is just as likely to have Mercury Retrograde (apparently going backwards).
More important for quickness is Mercury in an air sign.

Hey! Somebody's hijacking this thread!!! This thread is about nothing and it's beginning to look meaningful.
happy.gif

Air Signs? What you guys mean is where Mercury is and how it's moving when you're born, not what sign you actually are, right.

What signs are air???
I only remember pisces is water (because it's me an because... it's a very easy association, I suppose)

Martin,

I can say this and mean it: That's the best reception a poem of mine has ever had! I can now retire.

You do like being a moose, don't you?

You have a quick grasp! you reply before I post! Maybe you're right, words are not needed, as you said in another thread... You know what people are going to say before they do. Awesome!

Maybe not much mercury for me, maybe I'm just a little more 'literate' than it seems...

I like being a moose very much, and being an alligator too. But I really am ..
