Hi !

Just to be sure.
I asked the I ching ' What possibilities would the relationship with Miran ( a guy) and me have if I do my best for it?'
The answer was 18 - Decay - Ouch with moving line 2 changing to 52.

I understand decay, but the moving line is confusing. Can anybody clear me up wheather I just don't want to understand or is it positive after all.

Thank you for your answer. To tell the truth, I'm not the cause of his problems.
He is my very old friend which I haven't seen for 11 years...After we met again in December we are just about to start a deaper relationship, but in those years he has divorced twice and still fighting with his second ex wife for who is going to keep what...
On the other hand we have a very nice together...
I'm living alone for 9 years and now I don't know wheather I'm just getting cold feet to be with someone again or he is not what I'm hoping for. I'm realy not comfortable with this 'money fighting'. That's why I asked the question.

Hi I think the answer Yi gave you fits your question so well. 18 is about setting right the wrongs of the past, and you are asking if you do your best to make things work how will it be ? 18, 2 says its good you are trying to fix problems of the past but don't be over energetic about it, don't press too hard to get everyting right at once, be very sensitive. As Willowfox already said the corrections need to be gentle.

Some take the relating hexagram as the context of the question so 52 may be referring to the fact you've been apart a long time (Lise says somewhere 52 can be about standing apart). I admit I'm a bit stumped on the 52 here though ?

I don't think its a bad answer at all. BTW 18,2 has been discussed recently on the divination/discussion area titled Memorizing hexagram 18. Also it is always helpful to look at the hexagram index about 18,2 for past discussions.
