I asked him some pertinent questions when my instinctual antennae went into overdrive and, well, the less said but the connection has been severed - by him not me.
Further conversation, with a person who's been my mentor for many years, suggested that it's the (mine in this case)perception of the male that attracts these people.

I asked Please show me the way to change my perception of the male

Hex 8.2.4>47

This got me to the questions

Please show me the way to seek the origins inside about my perception of the male

Hex 30.6>55

Line 6 - cast out the perceptions, leave the past behind. OK best to do that for sure.

Please show me the way to seek the union outside re my perception of the male

Hex 47.2.4>8

This looks to me like, leave it in the hands of 'God' and just get on with the things I can.

My guess is that you've had an early perception of an important man, such as your father, who was king of his castle, made a show of his authority and may have been strict, but that you also were aware of his weaknesses and vulnerabilities and lost confidence in him. I'd also guess that over time his weaknesses defined him and that you lost respect for him, and consequently men in general.

Even if this doesn't pertain to your father it could be your perception overall, perhaps exemplified by your ex or other men in your life.

Where there is a void, you naturally rise to fill it, becoming your own man as well as your own woman. But I think it is here where a woman can lose her femininity in exchange for feminism. To a man, at least to me, this is a sad thing, and to a man who remains closely bonded to such a woman, it's inevitable that she will take from him his masculinity. This is an even sadder thing, even a shameful thing for the man.

Oppression is repeated in your readings, which is the opposite of edification or building up. First, he takes from you but fails. Then, you take back what is yours, but go to far and take away what rightfully belongs to him. If this is realized and corrected, there is a clear and natural life expressing itself through the differences between man and woman. We all have faults, and we all should apply ourselves to correcting them. Overcompensation of exhibiting power is worse than the weakness it has replaced, and is itself a weakness.

Thanks sooo, right on all levels. Thanks for always sharing your insight, it certainly resonates with me and gets me thinking and progressing. I will reread what you have said here and see what I can do with it for myself.

Projection?

interesting word especially looking at those two questions. There is that cycle those reading 'draw" feels like been in an orbit-like movement. When got such a reading in the past the song " Windmills of your mind" popped into mind and ever since I "hear" it when such readings appear.

I love that reading, an alternative definition of the mechanism of perception; that we hold inwardly affects what we hold outwardly too. That creates a 47 situation- enclosed in certain mental images that prevents us to see the rest of what happens outside.

Just read 30.6. What an apt line, Liss ! its the second time I read in this forums people getting this line for fighting the "wrong" enemy ( ringleaders vs followers.) Past experiences, as sooo said, trigger reactions. 55 and the prince's story, leaving behind his "duties" according to the social norms and go his way and the mandate.

I have seen so many people get disappointed because they thought the had "left" the past behind yet something triggers past experiences and they feel that all the work they have done was a failure. Someone I know says that this idea is so overvalued and we need to accept somehow that we can't get rid of the past. This line reminds me their words because what that person's advice is when something triggers it, just slow down and concentrate on the idea that what we see now its probably ghosts from the past or in other words try to discrete who are the 'ringleaders' and who the 'followers'. Creating new connections in our mind reduces the influence ringleaders and our experiences. and that, imo, is one of the aspects of 55: assume responsibility for our being and well being.
