Please give guidance

Listen, I've been having a lot of conflicting thoughts regarding sending a letter to a once very close person who, now, has much hostility towards me. This individual was quite abusive, however, I always saw where it was coming from. I always looked for the good and saw past the bad (to my own detriment) But, I've triggered something within her. Although, this was all her creation. . . the "bad ending" and to have no resolution. I believe this is just her auto-pilot. Perhaps, when someone gets to close and abandonment/trust issues rise. I am very aware of what is being projected on to me and the transferences happening. As time has gone on, and the longer we haven't spoken, the more angry shes become. I know this because I ran into her several times. Anyway, I've written a very spiritual and kind letter trying to reach out on a soul level. Coming from truly a place of love but also saying that it is unfair to treat me without respect. A very spell breaking letter. I have no expectations. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised it if made her more angry and threw it in the fire.

Anyway, I asked the oracle : Please tell me if it is correct to follow through and get my letter to X?

i received 48.3>29.

Please help me understand what I should do.

To me it says the opposite. Using the Wilhelm translation:

Nine in the third place means:
The well is cleaned, but no one drinks from it.
This is my heart's sorrow,
For one might draw from it.
If the king were clear-minded,
Good fortune might be enjoyed in common.

An able man is available. He is like a purified well whose water is drinkable.
But no use is made of him. This is the sorrow of those who know him. One
wishes that the prince might learn about it; this would be good fortune for all
concerned.

48, The Well is about reaching in to draw out stuff that's deep within and is eternal. In this case, I think it might be talking about your former closeness that's now locked away deep under the earth because you are estranged. Line 3 talks about a clean well with good water for drinking, but no one is making use of this water and this makes you sad. You feel that there is a strong bond between you that has been broken and all the good feelings you used to have for each other or your relationship or whatever have gone to waste. This line also talks about expressing the sorrow so that people know there is a clean source of water going to waste, in hope that this will make people come to their senses. To me, this bodes well for sending the letter, as you'd be effectively be trying to recreate your connection - making the other person aware of the "water in the well". The line doesn't say whether this succeeds or not, but it certainly encourages you to do it and says it is the right thing to do.

Would love an update on what happens if you do send the letter!

I am very grateful for both of your replies. Last night I gave the hand written letter to my good friend who happens to be her roommate. He will give it to her when she wakes up this morning. I can tell you that the moment I did this I felt not only empowered but a sense of such relief. Kash, everything you've elegantly worded in your interpretation feels very true to my heart. And is quite healing to hear.

Liss- though my heart was pushing me to take action, I do appreciate what you've said.

I guess we shall see what happens, God speed. Il keep you updated. Again, I have no expectations.
