Please give me a guiding principle for the coming six months in my life - Hexagram 38.6 to 54

The reason I ask is that in the course of the next six months I am anticipating moving to the other side of the world to commence a new job and so in such circumstances of great change it is important to have some sort of general principles as an anchor.

I thought perhaps it may be giving me a message that I will feel alienated, estranged, lonely and possibly suspicious of those around me (which can happen in culture shock when someone moves to a very different country), but that really the people around me will not be hostile, and if I let them in it shall lead to good things.

Then it seems that once the change has happened and one reaches hexagram 54 the thing to do is not to do anything at that time, and not have plans.

Interestingly I asked on April 8th "what is it that I need to know now?" and received the exact same answer, 38.6 (I have asked I Ching 12 questions in total since March when I first began and this is the first answer even partially the same as a previous one, let alone exactly the same).

What do people think about this?

I heard a talk awhile back given by this fellow who had written a book about these kids who had gotten ship wrecked on an island for something like 50 weeks (or months?) and when they finally got rescued they were all in good health and psychologically fit - and the question was how did they manage to do it. I can't remember what all he said, things like team work of course, but their key guiding principal was

ASSUME THE BEST.

So I think that's what you're being advised here, assume it will work out, and also with 54 to recognize you will be in a situation where you have no status or authority so expect that for a time you'll need to be able to quietly go along with the established order.
