Please help with 30 to 35

Please help. What is the best approach for me to take with this new love interest?

30 with lines 1 and 3 changing to 35

I read on this forum and in my books that 30 is many things; clinging, radiance, heat, and separation. Feels like two different messages to me and so I am confused.

I read the lines as warnings of possibilities: line 1 reads about confusion in the beginning and this is how I feel. Line 3 reads of not bemoaning the end. I see them both as going with the flow, but what of the meaning of 30 as a whole?

Then there is the related hex of 35. Progress and flourish. I left wondering: is Yi telling me to cling to progress in this relaitonship? To seize the moment of radiance and go for it? Or to separate from pursuing this?

But if 30 really meant to separate then I feel I would have received 23. But I might also be told to see clearly that both of us are needed to sustain this radiance. OK, but what is the action in answer to my question about approach??

Thank you for the reply. If my question had been about understnading what is going on in the relationship then I would agree with your interp. But my question is about what approach I am to take. Surely the Yi is not telling me to be insecure???? But you are correct that I am feeling insecure in this. I feel insecure about my approach and about it all.

So the approach I am to take then is one of confidence -- or at least I am to curb my leaning towards insecurity. Yes, this makes sense. I can do my best. So, in a relationship of rapid progress and sexuality (if I read 35 correctly) I need to avoid being insecure. OK.

Oh, I also asked what would happen next for us, and received 20 with lines 3 and 6 changng to 39. I asked these questions at the same time.
