My 13 yr old girl has been suffering twitching in her neck for some seven months now it is getting very painful for her. The GP has found nothing wrong and refuses to even see it as twitching, he says her neck pain is causing the twitching. Her neck pain started four months after the twitching but to be honest I have no faith in orthodox treatment I have only taken her to the GP to rule out any underlying problems.

I think it is due to my break up with my partner about seven months ago, it was a messy end and this caused stress in our household.

I have asked the I ching what is causing this twitching and I received Hexagram 35, I asked how can we ease/eliminate the twitching and received Hexagram 34 any help appreciated.

Thanks

Was that the answers, hex 35 and 34? Or were there some changing lines?

I don't really understand changing lines willowfox.
Hex 35 was made up of, starting from the bottom line 8,8,8,7,6,7 and Hex 34 was 7,7,9,7,8,6.

Thanks

Try another gp, massage therapist, or chiropractor too - maybe a counseling session or two also might help

best to you both

First answer is hex 35.5, the fifth line is the changing line.

Second answer is hex 34.3,6, as you see the third and sixth lines are changing.

Your first answer about the cause does seem to suggest that she had some deep feelings over your separation and that is perhaps why this problem is still lingering, she has got to overcome this herself.

Your second answer suggests that you should stop running around in circles looking for an answer because you must realize that you will get nowhere, so stop and think. Because the problem seems to be in your daughter's mind, she is literally making herself ill, perhaps she misunderstood what happened between you and your partner and so she is playing the wrong tape over and over again in her mind, talk to her and try and clear up what is bothering her.

Thanks willowfox it makes sense I will try to talk with her. I have tried but she struggles to open up and holds a lot of anger inside. Her dad has always been the same too! I am trying to hard to solve the problem as yes it is down to her but as a Mother its difficult to watch your child suffer. I do appreciate she has had to share my pains over her lifetime. I am doing my best to be a stable supportive Mother, we have a close relationship but her problems are with herself which she must work on with my support.
Thanks again

Perhaps if she releases the anger then she will release the pain. She needs to see that she is the root of the problem and that suppressing anger only causes more pain, an understanding needs to be reached.

Thanks solun, I know instinctively its not a physical problem its her emotions all caught up! She cannot tolerate even the slightest touch so massage etc out of question. The GP has sent her for x rays to see if any problems in the neck. It eased during summer holidays when there was less stress.

Thanks
