positive changes

I wanted to know what new positive changes are coming up for me. I know it's a bit general. I received hexagram 27 line 6 changing into hexagram 24.

Does anyone have any insights into this reading? I interpret it as end of what has been nourishing me and a new beginning.

I have to remember to thank after reading to show I've read it As an educator in the past yes I gave too much to demanding students and a demanding business. I became burned out. People take advantage of my generous and compassionate nature and I have to learn to hold back. My job was to provide mental nourishment for sure and it was fun and rewarding. Now I'm semi-retired so that's finished. I have some ideas that involve me influencing and nourishing others in a positive way but that is far far in the future I think the I Ching is revealing my long term goals in this casting. I think I might have to expand on the question based on your answer.

I think that the Yi is saying to you that nothing is finished yet. You will continue to be the source of nourishment but there is a reminder (as ichingtarot said) that this a position of great responsibility not only in terms of nourishing others but also looking after yourself, to make sure that you don't get burned out as you wouldn't be helpful to anybody.
I see hex 24 as saying that you are (or will always be) going back to where you belong, your place in life.

I'm holding on to this for future reference. I wonder if it means going back to Greece. I'm Canadian. Greece is where I ran a language school and my background is Greek. I belong there? My place in life? My best experiences and adventures have been from there. I have great influence there because of my family name. Hmmmm I own condos in Athens and a cottage on a Greek island. But have no interest to return as of yet.... Needs pondering

Hello Mirian I can't get my mind off your insights. You are like the Oracle of Delphi The more I ponder what you wrote the more sense it makes. I have a big dream to turn property I will inherit (summer rental studios on a Greek island) into a spiritual retreat for the rich and famous. This when I retire. I'm looking for investors. It's going to be a big project and on a large scale. If successful I will definitely make a name for myself and spread my influence worldwide. I wonder if that's what the hexagram is showing?

I really didn't think in terms of geography. When I looked into your readings the whole thing made sense to me as you returning to "your place", but whether or not this is a particular location I don't know. What I see is you being where you should be in life, doing what you are meant to be doing, your whole life converging to the point where it should be. Wherever you belong (either literally or not) this what I see you returning to. :bows:
