Possible Marriage? 50/32

Hello everyone:

The question I asked was: What is the future situation of marriage between and with "so & so" and I?

I have asked a particular question again, after several events have occurred, which have changed the nature of the question. We recently had a wonderful vacation together, yet this question was put off, by her, to a possible future date. This is the vernacular wishy-washy response of "possibly maybe" and one I do not like very much.

The answer from the I-ching (via yarrow sticks) was 50 with 6 changing, and the potential hexagram, resulting from the former, was 32.

I have interpreted this as meaning it is likely that this "possibly maybe" response will become "certainly surely." I see whatever unsureities previous exprienced are extignished and confidence sparked. The 50 shows this with the 6 changing line, and then when this forms 32, which I interpret as a long lasting commitment.

I use a non-standard book for I-ching, and wonder whether I am on track, correctly interpreting my divination?

Thank you in advance for any response. :)

Best,
J.

Hey there
Its hard to get an accurate reading when asking about other's & not yourself however interestingly enough though

I think line says what you are thinking to a degree
this is appears that the marraige is quite solid maybe you know these people very well

Sorry I take that back this question is about you I didnt see the I next to the question mark maybe I need glasses but like I say the line appears very positive , I think 32 is a good hex for a relationship
the reason you know these people very well because you are one of them, haha,
Life is strange , things can change fast maybe its a big questiion for so & so and thats why they were wishy washy

All I can say the line is very positive in this context maybe just be patient.

Keep me posted

Steve

This reading sounds so very positive..I too would appreciate it if you let us know how this works out. It seems to me that 32 is indicative of a traditional marriage union and 50.6 is one of the most fortunate lines in the I Ching.

Thank you very much Steve! I suppose if anything were to sabotage this relationship, it would be I, due to a strong feeling of impatience. I have a tendency to want my way first and my way now. So, in short, I shall patiently wait and inform you of what occurs. Thank you very much for your response. :)

Best!

I LOVE it when people agree with me. Ha ha. ;) In all seriousness, I am comforted by your response because I tend to be unsure of my readings, especially when they are for myself, and even more so when they are about something extremely dear to my heart. As such, I brood over possibilities more than I should. In fact, to be honest, I was angry by her response, angry with her, but as I said, patience is not my strongest virtue. I need to cultivate it a bit more. My emotions sometimes get the better of me. So, in short, with Steve's assessment and now your assessment, I feel that painful angst from being left hanging slowly evaporate. Thank you very much Bamboo. May your shoots grow long and strong. ;)

All the best!
J.

I just want to add that the Yi might not have the same cultural idea of romantic love as you have and that you are projecting your own wishes into the Yi. The Yi might exactly respond to that and say: Yes, on a practical level, you might succeed marrying this person but you need to be less romantic but more practical/tactical about it?
