Possible Relationship: 32 to 64

Hello there!

This is my first post here so I'm still a bit green and I apologize for that. I'll cut right to the chase:

The thing is I have recently met a person I really like, she was on holiday and now she went back home. I have been thinking about moving away from here (Spain) for a couple of years and I finally have the courage to do so. She's from one of the potential destinations I had in mind so no problem there.

I asked the I Ching where this was headed (potential relationship with her) and the answer was Hexagram 32 to 64. I am not entirely sure how to interpret this so I would appreciate some input from any of you with more experience in I Ching reading.

Sorry, I haven't been very specific with the question. The exact question was "Where will this go if I try to really make it work and I move to x where she is"

Dear DG1987,

In a nutshell, I think the Yi is saying to you "too much, too soon". By the way, if your reading is 32 to 64 your changing lines should be 3 and 6.

In terms of advice, I believe the Yi is telling you:
32.3 - first make sure that you get your focus right, that you know what you really want, that your decision is consistent. Make sure that you have your feet on the ground and your own mind balanced.
32.6 - do not try to make a decision or take action in a haste. Your sense of urgency is not going to get you anywhere.
With 64 as your relating hexagram I would see this situation more as a process. Yes the potential exists but you are not there yet.

It actually makes perfect sense. I have lost potentially amazing things in my life due to this sense of urgency that you mention. I always want things YESTERDAY. So I guess there is a lesson to be learned here.

I am very confident that this can work out if I make the necessary sacrifices but I suppose that the Yi says to just keep it cool for now, maybe get to know her better, talk more and not try to hurry things up.
