I asked what is the liklihood of my prayers being answered?

I got 64.2 to 35

64.2 does not look good. This idea of a stranded fox that's stuck. Does this mean I need to pray more?

No I don't think it's a no. From Hilary's book 64.2 says

'Your wheels dragged back.
Constancy, good fortune.'

In her commentary she says more or less that just because things don't seem to be working out at the pace you'd like it doesn't mean things aren't working at all.

Sometimes there needs to be times when not a lot seems to be progressing. If you get this line you need to understand that's okay.

Your wheels feel dragged back...that doesn't mean you won't arrive, it just means it will take longer.

There's that quote from a film I saw that fits with 64 "Everything will be alright in the end and if it isn't alright then it's not the end yet"

There's more to come, more things to happen, let the story unfold in it's own pace. Even when things look their worse there's always the next turn in the road to bring a new horizon, always.

Oh and what I meant by 'no' being an answer is that sometimes with hindsight 'no' can be the best answer because what you wanted so much was actually not the best you could have. So the 'no' was so something better could happen. Anyway this isn't exactly a no it's a 'you are being slowed down, hold your horses, don't mind the delay too much....speed isn't everything'

Thank you trojina, I feel reassured.
Interesting, I just asked if praying makes a real difference (in a positive way) and got the exact same answer... I guess Trojina’s response works for me too.

"Your wheels dragged back." Praying is a halted progress in itself. You are actually considering your wishes and asking for support and help and fulfillment. It helps! You have to be constant.

Consider hexagram 35 line two as part of the awnser "Progress is halted; an individual is kept from getting in touch with the man in authority with whom he has a connection. When this happens, he must remain persevering, although he is grieved; then with a maternal gentleness the man in question will bestow great happiness upon him. This happiness comes to him-and is well deserved-because in this case mutual attraction does not rest on selfish or partisan motives but on firm and correct principles", if God is this "man in authority" then I think I will go to pray. Thank you for this post.
