Pregnancy 4.2.5 -> 20

Well, I know there's a more sure fire way to answer this one, thanks to medical science, but it's still a bit too early to take a test. So I decided to ask Yi.

Am I pregnant?
4.2.5 -> 20

LiSe's translation of 4.2 includes the eye-popper "To impregnate the wife, auspicious. Sons sustain the family." So that jumped out at me. But I also think it could just be the oracle indicating to me that yes, we're having a conversation on this topic. (My husband and I have just started trying.)

Line 5-- youthful ignorance? We just started trying, and have no idea how it will go. Picture of youth in general? We should stay innocent and ignorant for now about the matter?

Hex. 20 appeared a lot for me when we were discussing timing and when to start, including some of the less great lines. But it reflected the time.

Overall, it seems like a merry and cheerful reading. I'm posting mostly because it appeared to be on topic, and it will be interesting to see the outcome. I'll update in another week!

Impregnating the wife, there's a son, lucky... an immature child, lucky...
And overseen by a doc (20).
Well if that doesn't mean pregnant I don't know what does (well ok there's also 44.5 > 50).
I'd be surprised if you're not - but even if you're not right now, I believe it will happen very soon.

Not pregnant yet, as it turns out. Hoping for this next cycle!

If there's any interest, much earlier in the last cycle I asked how it would go, and got 50.4 -> 18, which, I took as a literal image of the womb's contents spilling or the fluid not reaching it. I'm feeling now like the follow up question was more about confirming intent and talking about the general plan.

Anyway, here's hoping!

I've missed this thread, but would like to offer my thoughts about 4.2.5 -> 20



Just looking at the hexagrams I saw a woman with an empty belly (line 2) and something in her head (line 5). Like some mental blocks are preventing the conception.

Then I looked up h20, which is saying 'The ablution has been made, but not yet the offering' (Wilhelm), h4 is also about something not ready yet.
Also 4.2 points to 23 (Strip Away) and 4.5 points to 59 (Dispersion), both look destructive/weak, something is falling apart - opposite of creating a new life.

Then I read other posts, and your answer where you mention 50.4 and 'intent'.
I think all of that adds up to some mental reservations about having a baby. Fears probably?
The need for sacrificing a major part of your life and energy to provide neccessary care perhaps?
