Hello,

I'm new to Clarity but I thought I'd put a reading on here. I would really appreciate some thoughts on a dilemma I'm facing.

I bought a property a few years back. It has always felt wrong but what with the way of things it doesn't seem a good time to move. My reading question was:
What can I expect if I hang on to the property for a few more years? The result was 36.2.4 Leading to 34.

I also asked: What can I expect if I let the property go straight away? 1.3.5 Leading to 38.

I also asked: What if I make my focus paying the mortgage for a few years? 22 unchanging.

Selling wouldn't be straightforward. I asked how to move on from this situation safely and got 2.1 leading to 24

I think the reason I'm posting is because while my head says stay with it for now, the reading seem to indicate that I should let it go straight away.

I'm wondering what others think.

Thanks and best wishes,

Hi Mela,

It appears to me that luck is not on your side if you hold onto it, I'm thinking the value would likely continue its trend downward. There's power involved, which may be yours but may also be the conditions of the time which force things in the direction they are going. (36-34)

Letting it go right away awakens the potentials, and an intense time of finding or creating the best deal. Negotiation is generally a compromise of opposite sides. (1-38)

I interpret 22 unchanging as meaning, it's fine as appearances go, but I don't think it nets you anything more, given the shifting economy.

I always take 2.1 as a warning. Here I'd tend to see it as saying that holding on to it could wind up being frozen in it, unable to move it.

I see 24 as "back to the drawing board" to rethink this some more, resourcefully and creatively. But consider the risk you take by how much sleep you're willing to lose over it (1.3).

Hi Mela,

I see this as an opportunity to beautify the proprty the next few years using creative ideas to make the property more marketable. 2 to 24 defo says this about returning to devotion & 22 is beautifying. 1 to 38 is what happens what you let a creative challenge slip away that could actually be a lucrative pay out in the end..Just my 2 cents worth ;)

hi Mela...
i want to pinpoint you that it's hard to get the context of an answer if you ask using "if".
the use of "if" is probably wrong... since "if" referes to a possible alternative... but you are not sure if its the alternative that you'll follow. well to what is then the answer referring?

to toss coins with "if".. is something that only people with a long an deep knowledge of the yi can do.
and i'm sure this person avoid it's use.

there are more efficient ways to ask the yi about the todo. example
what is wise to do with the property "****"?

also if you not understand the first answer... don't continue to ask.... because the first answer is mostly the more easy taylored.

Thank you for your time and responses.

Patro, I did as you suggested: What is the wise thing to do with the property? The response was 33. 1. 4. 49

It's hard to know whether the 33/ Retreat is to sell or whether the 1 indicates doing nothing for now...

Do you, or anyone, have any thoughts about this?

Retreat for Radical Change

Line 1 indicates getting clear of an influence so that you can't be pulled back into it. Otherwise, you can't plan for the future. In Line 1 you retreat to keep your rear end (tail) out of trouble. In Line 4, you retreat for higher purposes. With both the motive of saving your rear end, and with the motive of higher purposes, you can have radical change.

Yi says the wise thing to do with the property is to Retreat for Radical Change.

I am not the best but i see

hang on 36 > 34 says rocky but ultimately ok

going leads to an estrangement do you have a partner in this?

22 seems to imply upgrade tart up for good price

the safely out 2.1 > 24 implies receiving say rental income and moving back in
later

can you go live with folks build up rental money and return in 6 - 12 months
dont know where in the world you are but thats how i see those hexagrams

cheers only my 2 cents

hexagram 2 line 1 is definitely a tighten your belt type message
spend frugally - however I always like 24 my favourite hexagram
pointing to the return the turn around - love it
so hopefully with some serious economising you ride this out?

blessings to you

in this case 33.1.4>37

would say to me that a zealous retreat in line one has ended up stuck but line 4
says calculated batoning down of hatches attend to one's family stay quiet and
steadfast like the good wife - retreat is temporary

take time out with your loved ones and come back to this matter refreshed x

well first line is telling you to not undertake what you've planed... but to seek for help.
join forces is the way to reach your target... you have also to handle fairly.
i think a estate agent is the one to which is here referring but, if you are just in contact with one.. the advice here is to cancels the contract.

the forth line... is telling you that you will regreat spontaneously from your intention and this is good for a noble person.

hex 37 mean in this context that you'll be in a safe positions where you will not have problem, also you'll be in a situation of protection and endearment... like it is a familiar ambiente.

Hi Mela,

I used to be a Broker in Real Estate..(that was when I was married & the market was strong) now I am glad to just have any work..anyways.. a Realtor can help you determine or at least point you in the right direction of the property in question. As they look at all aspects in regards to how much equity you have stored, market value, can u add a little more TLC without breaking your wallet ?& have a good turn around, can you turn property into rental? what are your zoning laws? etc. Find a Relator thats not to big for thier pants but not too new either..or perhaps the one that sold you the property?

Yes, you are right. It's 33.1.4. > 37.
It seems to me that "People in the Home" is the very opposite of real estate speculation. If the property was bought for speculation, then I think you are still being told to retreat from your original plans, and consider having different behavior, approaching a dwelling with the constancy of a woman in the home.
