Puzzled with 59.1.2 > 42, 64.2.3.5 > 33 & 40.1.3 >34 ?

HI All!
I'm hoping some of you can help me as some of my answers have me puzzled with regards to my questions!


So there's a possible exciting project, I had done a few castings on it that were positive, but it all depends on the people working on it. And the first & only person I thought of working on it with me popped into my head immediately; lets give him the famed name "X" shall we lol!
He had a lot going on in his personnel life at the time & was moving away so things had only been mentioned in passing, hypothetically. But I had asked:

Will X be the partner? - 59.1.2 > 42

I saw this as positive, he needs to get through his personnel issues first maybe, leading to 42 Increase.

The problem is I have lost his new contact details. We'd also had a disagreement before he moved away so I don't think he'll be in a rush to contact me soon (he does have my details though) & the chances of us bumping into each other are extremely slim, perhaps Xmas time or something.

SO I asked:

How will our reconnection come about? 64.2.3.5 > 33

What part do I need to play to bring reconnection? 40.1.3 > 34


I am really stumped on these answers! 64 lines 2 & 5 seem positive, but line 3 a warning & Hex 33 has me confused.
ANd the 40 lines 1 & 3 with regards to what I need to do has me completely puzzled!

I don't know if these castings are telling me what to do or perhaps suggesting he's not right for the project & I should be working to find a new team?

I saw 59 & the lines in a positive light though.

Line 1: He brings help with the strength of a horse. Good fortune.
It also mentions dissolving misunderstandings.

Line 2: At the dissolution he hurries to that which supports him. Remorse disappears.
He gets through (dissolves) or he must get though his personnel issues. He needs support.

Looking back I thought maybe 64 > 33 is saying now is not the right time.

And with regards on what I should do (40 > 34) there's noting I can do at the moment, which isn't my fault (line 1), still not sure of the warning in line 3 though? And Hex 34 perseverance furthers - but I can't be persistent! Am I right in thinking there is a feeling of waiting for the right time with this Hexagram (34)?

59 is about Dispersing or Scattering. That is what he is doing.

There is nothing in this line about misunderstandings.
It's about relying on help.

Line 2: At the dissolution he hurries to that which supports him. Remorse disappears.
He gets through (dissolves) or he must get though his personnel issues. He needs support.

Nothing here about personal issues to get through.
The support here could be anything from a comfy chair, to a social club, or a job or relative that supports you. That is where he went, and why.

34 is often about impulsive acts, Ram-bunctiousness, leaping before looking, the Ram gets his horns stuck in a problem, the jun zi instead uses his wits.
