I asked the i ching if all those secret lodges mentioned in the conspiracy thoeries (you know, those who control the world from behind the scanes) really exist or these are all unbased rumors?

Wierd question, i know, but as an occultist, these things interest me.:D

He gave me:
47. K'un / Oppression (Exhaustion)

---- ----
---------- above Tui The Joyous, Lake
----------
---- ----
---------- below K'an The Abysmal, Water
---- ----

The Judgement

Oppression. Success. Perseverance.
The great man brings about good fortune.
No blame.
When one has something to say,
It is not believed.

The Image

There is no water in the lake:
The image of Exhaustion.
Thus the superior man stakes his life
On following his will.

The Lines

Six in the third place means:
A man permits himself to be oppressed by stone,
And leans on thorns and thistles.
He enters his house and does not see his wife.
Misfortune.

Nine in the fourth place means:
He comes very quietly, oppressed in a golden carriage.
Humiliation, but the end is reached.

48. Ching / The Well

---- ----
---------- above K'an The Abysmal, Water
---- ----
----------
---------- below Sun The Gentle, Wind
---- ----

The Judgement

The Well. The town may be changed,
But the well cannot be changed.
It neither decreases nor increases.
They come and go and draw from the well.
If one gets down almost to the water
And the rope does not go all the way,
Or the jug breaks, it brings misfortune.

The Image

Water over wood: the image of the Well.
Thus the superior man encourages the people at their work,
And exhorts them to help one another.

I am pretty convinced this means "no!" but is it just a no. Or is it "no, it is not relevant to you" type of no?

47. THE IMAGE

The superior man stakes his life on following his will.

The I Ching doesn't give "yes" or "no" answers but 47.3.4 - 48 says don't worry about it. You can accomplish your purpose whether there are secret societies or no.

47.3
Don't permit yourself to be oppressed by these rumors.

47.4
Far more damaging to mankind than the possibility of evil secret societies intentionally undermining the efforts of good men, is the tendency for good men to get distracted by their social lives and postpone doing what they know needs to be done.

Thus the Image of the next hexagram 48. The Well emphasizes the importance of exhorting people to help one another!

Well, Rosada is right about going on about your business. But the simple fact is they do exist, and they do affect us all. And it is getting to be more apparent day by day as we see more and more unexplainable phenomena in our world every day.

Oppression is a perfect reading for this, as that is exactly what the elite and secret societies are all about. Every ancient sacred text has told us of these people and where they originated. It is time humanity faces up to it as the time is very short. But those who warn? Well, as the text says, "they are not believed," and that is why they continue to exist undected, because nobody wants to believe it.

my 2 cents opinion about is that the 2 lines are very bad... so seen from your point of view, most probably you trust in the wrong conspiracy theory.
this didn't mean that there are no conspiracy... the well must have a sense in this reading ;)

by the way.... there are some funny conspiracy theories... but this could be used to mask the real one.

 theres billions of conspiracy theories in the world so how can you ask if they all true or not true. Presumably some will be true and some will not be true.

However I tend feel that those heavily invested in any and every conspiracy theory going are using the conspiracy theory as some kind of psychological defense against perhaps actually seeing the deceptions of those close to them in their actual lives ? I mean if they can push all the evil 'out there' onto these elite groups etc they won't have to take a look at what their wife/brother/friend is doing to them personally. Thats my observation of the blanket believer in conspiracy theories anyway. They may whole heartedly believe in all these groups plotting but simply fail to notice their wife is cheating on them etc cos they find it easier to deal with to place all their darker thoughts and feelings onto groups not directly connected to them

anyway i can't relate directly to your reading at all as its way too general IMO. I mean theres conspiracy theories about everything.
