Question about ex

just for my own sanity and peace of mind, I asked a couple of questions about my ex ( we only split up a few weeks ago).

I asked if he is already seeing anyone (or sleeping with anyone)...I got Hex 60 line 3 changing to 5
I interpreted it as possibly yes (as he is not thinking about the consequences of his actions, he seems to be totally on the rebound) but that he will regret it in time.

To clarify this, I asked 'What is he doing at the moment about other women/relationships?' and got Hex 62 line 1 and 4 changing to 36. Perhaps it means that he might wait a while but then have a relationship/liaison but keep it hidden? I am confused!!

I also asked how he feels about me and our relationship and got Hex 13 lines 4 and 5 changing to 22. To me this makes perfect sense because I like to think that my response to our break up has been dignified and I haven't really engaged with him...in the past I would have tried to make peace and talk things through which I think is what he is expecting from me. In some respects he is getting to a point where because he can't 'attack', he's going to have to come down from his 'wall' (line 4).
Also my experience of line 5 is that it is a good connection, so does he feel that despite everything the connection is still good and that there will be laughter after the 'weeping'... our conection has always been strong despite lots of difficulties.

It's best to ask questions about yourself and not about him. The I Ching often does not answer questions about others, but will mirror yourself back to you. After all, the I Ching is not a surveillance device or a fly on the wall that will inform you about his love interests!

I see this as answering about you, not him. You're jumping right into conclusions that if you taken any further will lead you into a state of repenting. Wait, calm down, don't make any swift assumptions about something like this. Wing: Your extravagant behavior and lack of restraint have led you into a state of difficulty. If you are now feeling regret over this and not busy placing the blame elsewhere, you will avoid further mistakes. Don't blame him. Look to yourself, your past actions and find where what you did could have been more accepting, more honest, more giving.

62: Laying low, being thrifty, grieving. Bird symbolize thought. In line 1 it's the thought that is trying to fly too high. "Wing: If you are considering an extraordinary plan, forget it. The time and your position could not be more inappropriate. Your destiny lies in the ordinary or traditional, and anything beyond that would lead you into danger." Don't let your thoughts run away with you as 36, it will wound your light.

Line 4 Wing: Your obsession with the attainment of your personal goals will ultimately cut you off from others. The more you pursue your dream, the farther you drift from your Community. In time, your loneliness will bring you to your senses. Good fortune. Generally, it is a place where you're sitting on the fence and can't really act in any direction.
