Good morning,

I have made a new tentative friendship but he says that he is christian - we haven't had a chance to discuss this subject properly yet and as we all know there are christians and there are CHRISTIANS.
Personally I have nothing against them generally but....

How will his christianity affect our connection Hex 50.3>64

Looks like he's gonna get upset that I question him further about it but it all looks ok in the end.
My oldest son is a CHRISTIAN and we have not had any real problems because of this although I believe he and his wife pray for me everyday in the hope that I will let go of my belief system and plug into theirs.:mmf:

50.3 Sounds like it could be a problem but if you don't get hung up on it, Wilhelm says if you see to it that you/he is "possessed of something truly spiritual, the time is bound to come sooner or later, when the difficulties will be resolved and all will go well. The fall of rain symbolizes the release of tension."

We are living in a time when people have such strong opinions about religion but few really know what they believe, let alone what another point of view might see. Perhaps this friendship is giving you both a chance to learn how to talk about religion without having it turn into a drama.
64. "The task is great and full of responsibility. It is nothing less than leading the world out of confusion back to order."

How will his Christianity affect our connection?
50.3 > 64

It's an interesting casting. 50 is the Chinese equivalent of the Christian chalice, and line 3 is the line of difficulty, so some problems. Bradford has "The cauldron's ears have been altered" -- broken, I suppose, so you are going to have difficulty hearing each other. However, rain (grace) and good fortune in the end. So if the little fox can avoid getting its tail (point of honor) wet (baptised) then the connection should go well.

thku rosada and pocossin - as it turns out he was brought up as a catholic just like me and we talked about the difficulty of living with the guilt of that as we try to become (and have I guess) our own person so I'm thinking this maybe the altering of the cauldrons ears.
And actually rosada I haven't really talked at length about being brought up as a catholic to anyone and the problems it has brought me so maybe it will be good for both of us to talk about it and release some of the tension that I know I still personally carry deep down. xx
