Hi all,

I woke up the other morning to these out of the blue questions from my significant other... “So, when do you think we will get married”...my response was silence

“Where do you want to get married...by a river? More silence on my part... And he asked a few more similar questions, which I brushed off as him being silly.

Part of me thinks/thought part of him wasn’t actually joking, and the other part still thinks he was...and as I don’t want to embarrass myself by bringing it up again with him - or I’m worried I made him feel insecure when I didn’t answer - I’m in a bit of a pickle.

So I ended up asking “Please give me insight into why marriage was brought up in conversation the other day”.

I received hexagram 42.2.5 Increase to Decrease??

42.2 Something about 10 pairs of tortoise shells

42.5 Something about kindness and sincerity of heart??

41 Decrease as the background - forsaking all others?

42 Putting our tortoise shells together because my/our hearts are kind and sincere towards each other?

How would others interpret 42.2.5 > 41.

Thank you

What a unusual comment from your significant other. A man must ask "will you marry me?" while on one knee, or not ask this question - but surely not do this. It's not the behaviour of a gentleman.

Hello;

Not sure about all this, but both lines indicate good intention, good fortune. Seems like he wanted a sincere answer.

Good point Bologna... he is usually a consent person, often asks me for permission in the *bedroom* department before we do anything...what I want to do and how etc.

I guess he didn’t ask “will you” because he knows how much I love him or didn’t want to give me the opportunity to say no (which I wouldn’t have).

I‘m not a traditional woman, was anti marriage before meeting him - and though I feel we are an odd couple - I am open to marrying him one day. I already feel that I’m living for better or worse, in sickness and in health, til death do us part with him 💕

Thank you also to Mary and Matali for your thoughts 💜
