How to deal with "unwanted" answers is a part of The Book of Kâu => Book IV. The Great Plan => VII:Because this is NOT what i want to hear!
I'm not thinking of the concrete reading, because this tread isn't posted in the Friends Area. I just happend to read the Great Plan text yesterday and think that esspecially the last two lines tell what to do or not to do, when one get an "unwanted" answer. It's impossible to avoid, when asking concrete and precise questions.I don't thinkthe Yi was telling her what she didn't want to hear anyway - i think the Yi was telling her to relax
Sometimes 15 does literally mean being humble and grateful for what you have, but It doesn't mean walking around with your tail between your legs or walking on eggshells. Your actions will speak clearer than impressive words. Hard, smart and diligent work is 15 in action, if you don't boast about it. Let your work speak for itself.
Hi Laurie. I've only been doing I Ching for a few months and I've gottenHas this ever happened to anyone, and what are the odds of this occurring? Yesterday I asked two questions, one right after the other, concerning my confusion about my difficult work situation. I got the same thing both times! This has never happened before, in my year of consulting the I Ching! I was stunned, to say the least.
Here's what I got: Keeping Still(mountain), line 6, changing to Modesty(Humility).
I'm wondering if this has happened to anyone else. Maybe this I Ching really wants to emphasize a point, concerning my work situation! And do I interpret this as meaning to stay where I am, bite the bullet and hunker down and be humble about it? Because this is NOT what i want to hear!
Thanks,
Laurie
