Fanofenka - While it is good to be open about one's political bias, you would be a better reader I think if you would make some effort to not build them into your questions to the Yi. As it is, you always lead with your assumptions. Personally I have found that makes getting clarity harder, not easier. But you have been told this before.

As an Asian American myself, with a part Chinese son, I think while it is true there is some animosity towards asians in general from all quarters, I do not think this pandemic has affected that much. Chinese Doctors were repressed and died trying to warn the world about this pandemic. I think most of the animosity is directed at the Chinese Communist Party and government, not the Chinese people in general.
And inter marriage is in fact the way we have dealt with racism. The first generation did not approve of it, it was a fight for my parents. But later on - intermarriage is common now. You build community by overcoming such prejudices - on all sides.
