Reduction of working hours?

As I wrote in my previous posts, this year I am commited in many activities and this is very hard to me and I feel I can't make it. I have to set priorities and make a decision. I know some readings seemed to say that I don't have to leave my job, but at the moment my first priority is to pass my professional examination and in my present conditions I don't have the time and the energy to study.
I made 3 different questions about passing my exam, and obtained 35 repeating:
- how do you see the possibility of asking for a working hours reduction to pass the exam?
The answer was 54.1,2,6>35
- how do you see the possibility of passing the exam with my current working conditions?
The answer was 23.4>35
- which is the best step I can do to pass my exam?
The answer was 35.1,4>27
Then I asked
- how do you see the possibility of passing the exam with a reduced working time?
The answer was 43.6>1
I have to say that last week I made a big mistake at work, maybe due to stress and fatigue, and this is way I started again thinking of changing my working situation, not leaving, but reducing time. I'm working in two different places for the same company and I'm considering of leaving the one where I made the mistake (the one that I never liked to much). I'm going to lose some money in it, but my contract is near to the end (3 months) it won't be a big loss.
I asked:
- what do you thing of the option of not leaving this part of my job?
the answer was 34.2,4>36 (I found a tread where someone spoke of burn-out syndrome for this lecture http://www.onlineclarity.co.uk/friends/showthread.php?t=5322 and I think it can fit my situation)
then:
- what do you think of the option of leaving this part of my job?
the answer was 43.1>28
I apologize if I wrote to many questions in one post, I'm not an expert and I was trying to make the right questions to the Yi.

This may be too many questions on the same topic. I do much the same when I'm anxious even though I understand that Yi answers the question behind the question. I only started reading the Yi 8 months ago, so take this with a grain of salt.

54.1.2.6 says to me that you would be able to focus on your work, but you may end up feeling like the success is empty. 54 implies that this is a second-best option. 35 is very promising with getting to where you want to be. It will still be hard.

23.4 says it's too much and to redefine your definition of success. Ultimately you will still advance, but is it worth it?

34.1.4 says that that it's on-again, off-again but if small advancements over time will lead to you getting to what feeds your soul.

34.2.4 > 36 indicates a meeting with someone who is your "hidden" superior, possibly hiding your true purpose for leaving that part of your job.

I think 43.1 may be what you were really looking for with this line of questioning. If you don't ask for help then you're looking at a pitfall or trap. If you do, then 1 applies and you're looking at success. It indicates that you are overwhelmed with your current duties. You need to take control of the situation because it has left you at a point where you don't feel that you can actually move. You're on the edge of moving but....

Either way, it seems like you will succeed but which one is worth it to you? To me, these all speak of you passing your examination either way but burning out if you don't take some time off. You may need to be discrete about your reasons for taking time off. No employer likes to hear that their employee is burning out, especially if it's a contract employee. If you need time off, then take it but be cautious about the reasons that you give.

Thanks for your words Suivis. Yes, I'm anxious and I know I made to many questions
Tomorrow I have a meeting with my boss to ask for the reduction of working hours and I'll have to pay attention to what i'm going to tell him.
First I'll start from my mistake and then I think I'll speak about the problems I have with my colleague (even if I don't want to talk behind her back and I'll have to be cautious about that as well). We have always had problems, but someway tried to manage it. After my mistake we reached a breaking point and I feel she didn't behave correctly (doing the same thing, or worse, she was accusing me to do).
Last week I hasked the Yi to tell me the consequences of my mistake and the answer was 38.1,5>6 and 6 is Contrast (and in an italian site both 38 and 6 are interpreted as contrast with colleagues at work).
Anyway, I asked the Yi about the meeting with my boss and the answer was 11 unchanging, Peace, and the same italian site speaks about success in both work and study :)

 We've all been there, even if we haven't posted it;)...

11 unchanging, strive to make peace in all you do at this meeting.

If you want to know how to reconcile the conflict between work and passing the exam maybe try asking the Yi

"How can I reconcile the conflict between work and passing my exam?"

It's worth a shot:)

Get back to us with an update...
Migliori auguri:)
(I hope I am using that expression correctly:eek:)

From all the questions you've been asking, I can see that you really need assistance and support. There is no doubt that your workload must be lessened so that you have more free time. With your questions, it's like you are turning every way, up, down, to the left, to the right, back, front -- and saying, "Please help me." The waters of your job and professional schooling seem treacherous and difficult to navigate. It is easy to do the wrong thing or say the wrong thing.

May I make a suggestion that you try to spend even as little as 5 minutes a day sitting quietly -- in meditation. Have you ever had a meditation practice? Usually I meditate before I cast the I Ching, because the meditation focuses the mind in the correct way. If you can, try to meditate for 20 minutes a day, even if that means you need to split the time into 10 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes at night. You will be surprised by how much more centered and refreshed you feel. Some people say that meditating is like going away on a mini-vacation ..

From my point of view, I don't understand how any adult can live without making some time for meditation, just to keep the pressures of life from getting to us. Please forgive me if you are already doing this and I'm just making myself obnoxious with unwanted suggestions ...

Today I had the meeting with my boss and he accepted to reduce my working time :)
I explained I needed time to study and he has been understanding. He was expecting my request, but he thought it was because of my mistake or because of the problems with my colleague, by the way, he asked me, but I didn't wan't to speak about it even if I've admitted we don't have good dealings.
He asked my willingness (I don't know if it is the right word) to replace other people when needed, I accepted with one proviso: I won't be always ready to go, I need time to study and I don't want to have to many hours occupied with substitutions (and I'm afraid this is going to happen). One more fear is that it won't be too relaxing, since I'll have to work in different places, with different people, but I think it can be a good compromise.
