Hi,

I had a relationship for several months but now she asked me to break up...
We haven't had any problems and we both love each other..
The reason we broke up is that she needs some time on her own in order to clarify some personal matters.. We still have contact (as "friends").
My question was if she'll ever be my girlfriend again..

I got 54.5.6 changing to 10...

I have a few months I've started studying/consulting I-Ching, so I'm having some trouble with the interpretation...

I'd love to read your opinions/analysis! I'd appreciate any advice you could offer..

When it comes to love, 54 generally provides a brief time of tenderness and affection, and then a break up. It is highly unlikely that you and she will last in any way. However, if there is an opportunity, it will be strewn with hardships, 10, that only the most persistent work can make work. Overall, I think you will not be with her again for any length of time.

I'm a litle bit confused because, although you say (10) that there is an opportunity, your conclusion is that there is no possibility for us to be together.. Would you like to explain it to me a little further?

I don't know if this matters but when I first met her, I consulted I-Ching about her interest in me or something similar (I can't recall the exact question).. The answer was 18.5>57.

Well, 18 is simply bad for love or marriage, even with the better moving fifth line, which really just means that you must stick to traditional virtues and not deviate from them. There is too much in the way of distress, and you should not pursue this woman at all. 57 simply means that this whole effort is blowing about like the wind.

As for a further explanation of 10: If it should happen that she comes back, then you have to do so much to make this affair work that it might happen. But the truth is that in all your readings this affair is doomed. Move on.
