I am so confused!
I am in a crisis state in which my marriage, which has never been great, has recently become very difficult. I do love my wife but we are not compatible and make each other miserable. Meanwhile, I have reconnected with an old girlfriend S from before marriage and we have struck up a relationship. But...she is involved with a guy D who she is obsessed with, and she alternates between saying he is bad for her (he doesnt seem to really love her) and she is addicted to saying he is good for her and she loves him. She talks about him constantly with me, and it is primarily a passionate sexual relationship, but not much friendship. S and I also talk about the possibility of us being together. We are like soul mates, having fallen in love as youth and with an amazing friendship and a passionate romance. I think we would be great together. She does too, but has some reservations. But D and her have recently suddenly intensified their sexual relationship. He recently went on a trip and now he has returned, I have not heard from her since (3 days).
I asked "What will happen between S and me when D returns?"
And "What will happen between S and D when D returns?"
Between me and her, the iching said:
61.3.5.6 > 11 Peace
Between her and D the iching said:
13.2.6 > 43
As for D and her, 13 speaks of fellowship and I think this means she wants him to be more of a real relationship than just a booty call. But the changing lines both seem to indicate there are problems with that direction. The Breakthrough though could be that they work it out, or...I wonder if it could mean that she sees that he is not worth it and comes back to me. 43 does talk about how this represents a time when inferior people disappear. How can I know if the iching means I am the inferior person, fading away, or if D is?
As for me and S, I am not sure how to interpret 61. Line 3 says I depend on S for my happiness, for good or ill. Line 5 and 6 seem mixed. And then Peace seems to show harmony and connection. Perhaps the warning in 61.5 and 6 is to let it go and not try to hard. That if she and I have enough substance in our connection that will prevail (and maybe 11 is saying it will eventually)? But do not try to hard to make something happen?
