Context:
I’ve been in a 6 year relationship with a man that has often been very difficult and exhausting. We both believe we needed to stick together to grow and confront our wounds in order to heal them. This happens for a while but there has never been a period of more than a week where I’ve felt at peace and contented. I have given a lot to trying to make this work including moving to his house, leaving behind my friends and spending a huge amount of money on his property trying to create our dream. I have practiced self inquiry and tried not to blame him when things go awry.
I have been confused about our compatibility because it always seems that happiness is just around the corner.,, yet we never get there.
my question was” What are the forces surrounding me right now?”
I feel I love this man on a soul level and see the goodness in him. However he has a gut condition that affects his mind and makes him very intense, self righteous and easily angered which is extremely difficult to live with for him and for me.
