Hey all, frequent lurker. Just wanted to say thanks for all the great resources here. Some context:
I asked about what a particular person means in my life. I was interested in her when we got to know each other a few years ago on the west coast of the US. Since then I've relocated to the east coast, and she moved to Europe (we're both Americans).
We got along really well and I felt incredibly comfortable with her, a lot of similar specific interests etc. Since she was in a relationship when I met her I didn't pursue or expect anything to come of it. But we stayed in touch and I've wondered if this was an important relationship or if it's significant enough to maintain.
What role does play X have in my life?

Since I've read through the UC threads here quite a bit, I was a bit confused by this one, especially from Arabella's post with the police officer. Her post suggests unwanted attention/affection. Though the Hex itself seems to suggest a harmonious union or at least a bonding whether good or bad. I don't recall being too pushy or even showing any interest
I asked for a clarification, although it's interesting to note that this Hexagram may not necessitate another casting- I'm using Huang's translation and he mentions that the original Chinese did not suggest the caster perform another cast, unlike most translations suggest.
I also wondered if an unchanging hexagram meant the situation wasn't likely to change much. Since I wanted these questions clarified I asked:
Could you clarify hex 8uc in regards to this question?: 50uc
This suggests something developing. In the UC thread here, it sounds like people have mixed experiences. It could mean something is changing into a new form. We have stayed in touch less as time has gotten on, so this may suggest a change?
Since I'm still a fairly new I-Ching user I wanted to use this post to help understand unchanging hexagrams better.
