As I claim government benefits I'm obliged to attend meetings with what's called a job network provider. The provider is supposed to help you find work but in all the years I've been attending this meetings I've found them to be pretty useless and disinterested,
However, much to my surprise last week I found my new provider extremely interested and helpful. Well at least I thought so until this morning....
After our initial meeting I lined up with him to have another meeting to help me with a job application for me to teach what I already have skills in but I need to do train the trainer course to be eligible. The provider said no problem I would love to help you than all of a sudden it's fallen flat.
At present I'm doing a Certificate IV in Small Business Management and am easily 2/3 of the way through gaining 100% on all modules handed in. It supposed to take 12 months and I've done most of it in less than 3. He did ask if I'd be able to manage another course and if that isn't proof enough well what is!

Please show me a picture of me still having his support in doing the teacher training course

I almost always interpret 24.1 as returning to myself, which means to stop the forward motion and turn my thinking around. Changing to 2 shows openness to creative action, and that sometimes requires waiting. I think you're just being impatient. You don't know the reason for this councilors cancellation, but I'd give it some time before rushing to an assumption. It sounds as though you've been making progress and are ahead of schedule. That doesn't mean that everyone else is ahead alongside you. You may have to wait for them to catch up. However, a little too much enthusiasm is better than not enough, but I encourage you to dance on the good foot on the soft, green grass while you wait. Cling to it, nourish yourself on it, and you will shine when it's time. Don't give up, but neither pass yourself up. Perhaps a professional note of appreciation to this person may move things along again. It would be received better than a spirit of entitlement.

Oh ouch do I come across as feeling I'm entitled to things? I have considered paying for it myself actually but then that would mean I couldn't keep saving for a car and then that would mean I couldn't take the job if it was forthcoming....hmmm, oh well I'll just have to see what happens I guess.

I don't know how you come across to him, and I'm not judging you. You'd mentioned you were ahead while he was behind. I would think receiving pressure from you may come across as though you're entitled, and perhaps indeed you are, though that wouldn't help your cause, which is what you're concerned with here, yes?

I don't have the magic answer. I'd try to win the benefits if possible, even if it meant stretching my patience a bit longer. Then you can decide a bit later if you want to invest in it yourself.

I do wish good things for you. You do deserve them. You have abilities and it would be a shame if they go unused.

Ah right now that makes sense.
The business course I'm studying is independent of him - he has nothing to do with it and indeed he said he would like to see me finish a few more modules before taking on more study that he's offering me, so he's keen for me to finish it as soon as possible.
Patience is not my best virtue no, no it is not but I can wait for sure. It's just that I feel I've finally found a perfect direction for me to take and feeling 'pumped' about it all and thinkin' come on let's get it rolling!

No I don't think you come across as entitled. Also it's his job for which he gets paid not a favour so yes you are entitled to help from him. He gets paid for helping you.

When one goes into a coffee shop to buy a coffee is it acting entitled to expect the waitress to serve you ? Of course not. Just wanted to say I don't see an entitled attitude anywhere here.

24.1 may indicate there is nothing amiss here, that he will get back on track OR that it is something for you not to pursue as you said.

Wow what a cast ! What the heck does it mean ? It looks like going from one extreme to the other. 58...all open and expressive, 52, still, detached, not in communication. 58 and 52 are complements, opposite hexagrams. So what does it mean ? Oh and the yang pattern is 1, the yin pattern 2. Good Grief !

I am wondering if in some way that path has been expressed as fully as it can be right now and you are returning to stillness. I don't think that's what you want to hear since you need to earn money...and heck Yi not many people earn money through doing 52....but a lot of people earn money through doing 58 !

I don't know Liss, I don't really know how to apply this but it is one hell of an answer. One to sit with and contemplate. I mean there are 2 extremes here, 2 ways to be.

Thanks Trojina - what you've said makes a lot of sense to me. For years (as you know) my energy has been fairly scattered going from one thing to another and one place to another with many people and events pulling me in different directions (away from myself) - well in hindsight that's how it's felt.

With both Hex 24.1 and Hex 52 I feel Yi is saying just keep still within and not allow events, others etc. to pull me away from my direction Hex 58.

The teaching is obviously an exchange with others but to do that I've still got a bit to learn and part of what I will be doing and, working with for myself at present is collage, so I guess that would be the artwork.

Definitely musical both guitar and piano although rarely play these days, perhaps I should to help remain grounded.

I made up my mind yesterday that I'm not moving for at least the next 3 months and signed two contracts to re-enforce that for myself and it's made me feel so much better.
I also realised the other day that, a woman I've been friends with for years and chat to almost everyday on facebook, had started to undermine me - a lot - so I've just told her I'm too busy to chat and that has made a huge difference, perhaps that's a Hex 52 moment too.

I searched the forum for "complementary" and found this post of Hilary's in the Hexagram Opposites thread:

Do you think it might mean that if Liss pursued this career, there would be an "interplay" (Trojina's sliding them into each other) of Stillness and Joy/Exchange/Openness? That they would complement (complete) each other? Maybe Liss would feel more settled, could stop moving so much, find some peace and joy in life - things like that?

It's impossible to know unless and until you might do it, though, Liss. It's such an unusual reading (I'm not sure I've ever gotten six moving lines) that any interpretation would be such a guess. If it was my reading, I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable relying on it for much, unless it seemed to be confirming something I already thought I knew.

The above might be the kind of stillness 52 is referring to - the opposite of what has been happening to you. Since the 58>52 reading came as an answer to your question about pursuing the adult education career, it might mean that career will help you achieve the stillness. As Trojina said, teaching is a hex 58 career.

In the interim when doing some inner work to learn how to express myself (Hex 58) as a teacher I've realised there is a behaviour I really need to stop to be successful in relating positively and effectively with people.

Please show me the way to stop this behaviour

58>52 image seems like a gathering between a strong 'I' standing in the middle of a "We" ... leaning is a part of 58 the I affects the We and the We the I....
