Thinking about this idea that the gate in 13.1 could represent the voting booth...

Question: What do we need to know about resigning to Trump being re-elected?
Answer: That's what will happen if you
33. Retreat at...
13.1 The Voting Booth

So, no big confirmation or condemnation of the man, just a simple fact about what will happen if people are resigned to his winning - they won't bother to vote at all - and thus he will be re-elected.

Resigning is more of a description of an attitude, I think. I am wondering whether Yi is telling us about that more than anything else, like what happens if people do resign themselves to four more years, rather than speaking about Trump specifically.
I wrote earlier in the thread "The question from my perspective looks to be focusing more on the 'resigning ourselves' element as opposed to what may happen in the 'four more years' or indeed any comment on the efficacy of Trump as a President." so I'd concur with your interpretation. The attitude appears to be tied up in not only attitude to voting, but also attitude to democracy itself and going beyond that to attitude towards self determination, both personally and nationally.

........or perhaps at the voting booth people will strategically retreat from voting for Trump. In the karmic world of the nuclear hexagram of 13 (44) there is an opening up to new messages and not holding onto old ways of doing things. The voting booths will be filled to the brim with the Royal Bride signifing the renewing of things through the feminine power. She'll be standing in the booth, un-noticed, whispering in everyone's ear. If you try to fight with this woman in the booth, 1) there won't be enough room and 2) she takes no prisoners, she is oh so very, very persuasive.

...or perhaps it'll be nothing like that at all.

Good Luck

Being UK based I've not taken that much notice of all the candidates in the race for first pass the post (13.1) at the next US election.
I posted the above without realising that it could lend itself to a prediction as there is apparently a dark horse coming up on the rails. Her name - Elizabeth Warren. She already has Biden in retreat with respect to campaign funding donations and when I was last speaking to Trump he said that he was making like Roy Orbison, which I took to mean he is "Running Scared".

So the identity of the Royal Bride that will fill the voting booths through the feminine power (compassionate socialism) is now known.
Remember you heard it here first, folks.

Perhaps 13.1-33 could indicate Trump retreating from the voting booth, that is, Trump decides not to run?

Why don't you all ask the Yi questions on your extended musings and post them?
That would be a great deal more educational. And the way the coins have been turning - a lot more fun. ;)

OK, I’m game. I’ve been reading conflicting conservative opinions: Some say the impeachment will strengthen him and he’ll be re-elected in a landslide; some say he’ll lose, and lose to Buttigeig.
So I’ll ask:
Which way from the above posting will it go for Trump 2020?

32. Permanence
Permanence.
Progressing.
Without fault.
It is beneficial to persist.
It is beneficial to have a goal to move to.

A permanent situation. There is progress, and nothing is wrong with it. It is good to go on, preferably according to some kind of plan.
(No changing lines.)
