Hello all!
I would appreciate help interpreting recent responses from the Yi. I have been overseas away from work for an extended period because of family issues and work has now insisted that I return or lose my job. I have written to them stating my intention to return by a certain date and checked with the Yi about what I had written before sending the letter. It said 42.2.6 > 60. I am uncertain whether to understand this as:
1) 'they are generous to begin with [or have already been generous] and then get mean towards me'
or
2) 'things are really positive for me at first, but then I mess it up by being inconstant or ungenerous'.

I asked for clarification about this and got 18.5 >57
Also 'Your advice about return to work' received 44.2.4 >53
Probably asked too many questions, or perhaps lost my mojo with the Yi, but am now thoroughly confused. Any thoughts, insights would be welcome.

thanks,
lodro

I started to answer then realised it was difficult as i wasn't sure who was being ungenerous with who. With all these answers someone is definately trying to take advantage, overstep the mark and it would be better if they didn't but it could be you who is acting this way or it could be your employer. The 18.5 suggests its you as it seems to be fortunate when you take responsibility for this and try to put things right.
My hunch is you are asking a bit too much from them (42.6) as they have already been generous (42.2) and obviously they aren't going to wait around keeping your job open forever. Then again perhaps it is them who are being unfair with you if you've had difficult circumstances to contend with ? I think if you think some more you'll know which way around it is...then make the decision if you want to keep the job. With these answers i wouldn't presume on a lot more generosity.
