I use the reverted Fu Shi order of the trigrams when reading, because this order is according to the eight phases of the moon and in numerical order, when I look at trigrams as numbers. The reverted Fu Shi order symbolize the natural order of our universe, where all circular changes can be divided in eight phases with each a specific energy expressed in the names of the eight trigrams.

My reverting of the Wen trigram order was in fact inspired by this tread His order of the hexagrams is pairs of upside down connected hexagrams, so maybe his order of the trigrams too has an upside down meaning? I thought that maybe my comment could be an inspiration to your actual study of trigram Water and Fire?
