Road to Happiness?

Hi everyone,

A reading this morning, I'm hoping someone can help with the interpretation. I asked what activity on my part would lead to increased happiness. I received 47 unchanging, Confined. I followed up by asking How this would lead to being a happier person and received 34.1.4 > 46, Great vigor to Pushing Upward.

Brief background, I am recently out of a 2 year relationship that was pretty one-sided (not in my favor), I know I am better off out of this relationship but we have had a lot of on and off so it's never clear if it is finally a done deal.

I am interpreting the answers as: I should not be out looking for any new interactions with men at this time, the time will come when I am able to make better decisions or feel stronger to start something new. Any thoughts? Or has this something to do with the on/off relationship which, honestly, is still weighing on my mind.

Hello there,

I think your interpretation is correct. Try to restrain yourself for a while (47, Restriction|Exhaustion), take a break from the relationships.
34.1.4 Says the same thing, line 1: don't try to go in a new direction, using force to change the current situation. and line 4: hide your power in the middle (like an axle of the cart's wheel), no need to use it now, the doors (to a new relationship) will open by themselves.

This will lead to an Ascension (46), spiritual growth, being more wise and understanding.

The relationship weighing on your mind is like being caught up inside a hedge. Once the hedge falls apart, as it will, you will be much happier. You have to give the hedge time to fall apart.

Your initial question about what would lead to happiness - with 47uc says that you can do nothing but wait - either you will branch out and your roots will seek new earth or you will grow out of your confining place
