Hi, all. Another romance question.

As well as playing 'cello, I also do jazz piano. I've recently teamed up with a singer (i.e. about a month ago.) We are musically on the same wavelength, and are drawing closer as friends. I'm also attracted, but common sense is saying keep it professional. Thing is, I'd rather not!

I did the online reading.

Question 1: Supposing I act on my feelings?
Answer: Hexagram 53

Question 2: Supposing I don't?
Answer: Hexagram 53 ---> Hexagram 2.

(How's that for synchronicity?! I was gob-smacked!)

Suggestions welcome!

Whether you act on your feelings or not, a gradual process of development is taking place, it is already in motion.
If you act on your feelings, you might disturb the process temporarily 53.3, and need to keep the overview in mind 20......but even though you might feel temporarily estranged, progress will be inevitable 53.5, be firm and at peace 52.
ultimately there is potential for a victory dance, a rise above all obstacles 53.6 >39.
2.......a destiny unfolding. allow it to happen.
Marriage and children are possible.

Thank you, Jeanystar, for your helpful words! As it happens, it is very much like you suggest. The friendship is developing very organically, and is being bouyed along by its own momentum. So it looks like I need to have some patience and use the Taoist principle of Wu Wei (doing nothing). That's always a tricky one for me, coz I like to get stuff done!

"...need to have some patience"

I think that is what Yi is telling you. I think the reason you got the same answer for both is that it was giving you advice on how to proceed rather than answering your direct question. Let it gradually develope on its own, go with the flow and see where you end up. Don't try to make it go one way or another, and don't try to rush into anything. Given time, I think you will have a positive outcome. Good luck
