Hi. I hope someone can help me interpret these answers.

Why does he believe these rumors about me?:
Answer: 21.1.5.6 to 45

Also, I asked:

Will he find out that that person lied to him?:
Answer: 22.4 [to 30]

Enlightenment charging forward like a white horse? Man, I hope so...am I reading this right?

Thank you

What an unpleasant situation!

The way I read this, what appears to be a natural sense of justice in him, associated with some defensiveness, was manipulated by someone of ill intent. It led him to be at that person's mercy. If he begins to see things more moderately, the situation will be resolved, but if he continues to believe the rumours, he'll hurt himself. Because of Top Nine, I would say that the situation will have to run its full course: he is not listening to reason right now, and will end up very embarrassed.

45 I would read both as him being overly defensive, and the necessity for you to keep yourself together and hold perseveringly to what you know is true - show leadership and moderation in this situation. His embarrassment will be punishment enough. There is also an advice for you to guard against future trouble.

I hope things are resolved between you :bows:

Thank you, Sophie.

I've calmly clarified that what he's heard is false so I just hope that he will realize this soon.

Why does it seem that the person who did nothing wrong is the one who feels the most pain?

Sigh.
