Seed and water Hexagram 3 unchanging

I feel like I've come to a stalemate. In one way I feel relieved as it means finally I've let go of something long overdue to be moving on from and I'm longer on an inevitable chase I felt I had to be on.
However, it also means I feel like there is a lot of nothingness ahead.
My days are mainly made up of working towards my business, either studying or sewing and other little relevant things. I go out for a coffee most days but other than that I've got nothin'. I have friends but no social life, I don't have appointments I need to get to or interviews or anything I have to be doing. It was alright for awhile but the last couple of days I've started to feel this stalemate.
I've made concentrated efforts to join social groups and meet other people but it appears to all fall away with no connections made.

How can I move forward from this stalemate

Hex 3unchanging

Well I had been feeling the vitality of that new seed but at the moment there seems to be no 'water' to help it grow - it seems to be just sitting dormant hiding away in the dark waiting to burst through but what is the 'water' to help that happen. Guess that can help me with my next question huh?!

What is the 'water' available to me to make this seed grow

Hexagram 37.6>63

Hex 37 - ‘People in the home.
A woman’s constancy is fruitful.’
Interesting yep all I do is in the home including my studies and sewing. My son appears to love having his mum 'run the household', for now anyway. I can see it has lifted his responsibilities somewhat as he works 60 hours a week, 6 days a week he has to be on top of things all the time including the somewhat essential but mundane chores.

Hex 63 - ‘Already across, creating small success.
Constancy bears fruit.
Beginnings, good fortune – endings, chaos.’

Oh well - yes small successes have been created and I understand how being constant would bear fruit eeeeeventuallyyyy but endings, chaos. Ahhhhhhhhhh - I dunno if I like that so much unless it good chaos of course.
thanks, I would love your insights, Liss

hmm, 37.6 beg the question : what is your definition of "nothing" and " something" , imo . could be h3 also ;)

My days are mainly made up of

  1. working towards my business
  2. studying
  3. sewing
  4. other little relevant things.
  5. I go out for a coffee most days

.....but other than that I've got nothin'

there was a period of time that was getting frustrated , upset , mad,..... etc etc... for getting hex 3. Can relate to your feeling. You want a change but its not due. Hex 3 feels as a period of incubation. Some associate it with the birth of a child and I see it likewise.

Have you notice the connection between h3 and 63 ( order- disorder) ?
hex 3 : Thus the superior man Brings order out of confusion
hex 63 :
At the beginning good fortune. At the end disorder.

Maybe all you do now its laying the foundations of future action. Results may be not apparent but there something growing underneath. Could be what you feel nowadays just a small crisis and will pass shortly ?

I love the following thought of Wilhelm in h3 :
In order to find one’s place in the infinity of being, one must be able both to separate and to unite.

Maybe its where you are now ? ... trying to "define" the "more" ?

I agree with Maria.

I am surprised how often 3uc has come up for me in very dark times. Hex 3 can feel like chaos and darkness, being born isn't comfortable. You cannot expect things at this time to take a definite shape, just as you can't force the embryo to look like a recognisable human being.

Don't try to make things take shape right now....things really aren't ready. it's time to settle down and put feelers out, find helpers. Not necessarily by charging around being 'proactive' but by letting things develop. Your life, like the embryo is not ready to take a definite shape, character or hairstyle :D

You asked what water to make this seed grow and got 37.6>63 what a lovely answer. You are already doing what you need to do to make it grow, you are gathering a sense of inner confidence and authority.

Everyday life can always seem small and humdrum but important changes and developments are happening within so that at the right time you are ready to go forward in the best way for you.

You aren't at stalemate at all. You are mistaking that feeling of being lost, not sure what direction next for stalemate....but it isn't stalemate. I see your situation somewhat like making yourself at home while reaching out gently to see what's there for you, what's next....but it all may be quite gradual and gentle.

Well yes Trojina and anemos - you're right, there's a lot going on really and yes mostly inner work and getting a feel to where I am now after all the chaos of the last couple of years (or more). I finally published my fb business page yesterday and that feels good but nothing more for now and that feels right too, except maybe going for rides on my new pushy. - Liss

If you are into Bachflower essences the one called Wild Oat is for bringing in new adventures.

I am indeed Rosada - the Bach and Australian Bush Essences. Wild Oat is rather an appropriate name for an adventure remedy isn't it! Will get some today, thanks! - Liss

Hi Liss,

I found this post by rodaki the other day from http://www.onlineclarity.co.uk/frie...-Chi-Chi-After-Completion&p=104375#post104375 in the Memorizing Threads - Hex 63 section of Exploring Div. and besides her 63 words of wisdom, think the Ted Talk by Elizabeth Gilbert she referenced (loved it!) as "vid link" (http://www.ted.com/talks/elizabeth_gilbert_on_genius?language=en) below might apply all the way around and help put the feeling of "stalemate" in perspective for you as it did for me:

63 may be like a puzzle: you have the image in front of you and then a pile of puzzle pieces, you know how they should look but you still have to do the work . .
also, sometimes in my readings I have understood 63 as the power of the status quo, not really sure about this though . .

. . and talking about how things might veer into chaos after a great achievement, I got this vid link today . . (first few minutes are very much about this . .)

Thanks iams girl - both the post from rokaki and the video are though provoking for me particularly as today I did a fair bit of thinking about the context of this thread. - Liss
