Seeking insight on how he feels about me

I asked the I Ching “how does _____ feel about me? And got hexagram 63.4.14 changing to 31.

This is regarding the feelings of an ex of mine. We haven’t talked in a few months and I’ve been contemplating whether I should contact him or not. I appreciate any insight provided!

Thank you for the response Marybluesky. That sounds accurate. I asked today what I could expect if I contacted him and got hexagram 58.2.6 changing to 25. This seems mostly positive to me, do you have any insight into this question?

how does _ feel about me? 63.1.4 > 31
63.1 shows someone dipping the tail in the water and 'no blame', everything fine. In romantic situations, this usually shows sex and everything ok, no blame attached. 63.4 shows a sinking boat, it also shows the metaphor of the finest clothes having been turned to rags. A situation beyond repair. 31 shows a man wooing a woman. So, since he's not wooing you, he's wooing someone else. It sounds like for him it was more about sex, and he has moved on... sorry to say.

what I could expect if I contacted him and got hexagram 58.2.6 > 25
He will be happy to hear from you (58.2), he will seduce you (58.6) but all this will be theoretical as it will not result in any more sex (25, no sex).

It doesn't sound that great I'm afraid... from these casts, it sounds like it wasn't as serious for him as it was for you.

That’s a hard answer to hear but I appreciate you deciphering it for me! That’s also interesting to hear because he had intimacy issues and we weren’t really having sex towards the end.

I have one last question I’d appreciate clarification on. I asked if he was seeing someone else and got the hexagram 25.2.3.4 changing to 9. I’m really not sure how to decipher this one. thanks to everyone providing me with insight!

I'm sorry about the 'hard' answer... I find it much harder to actually waste any amount of our precious life over someone who is not really worth it!

I asked if he was seeing someone else 25.2.3.4 > 9
He's hunting and doesn't like cultivating (25.2). He enjoys going with married women (25.3). You can already guess the story (25.4). 9 is about power games, and also building up tension with (again) no sex. So yes, there are women in his life, but no, he's not in any committed relationship as per "seeing someone".
