My life is changing, although I don't completely understand the how and why. To get a clearer picture I once again turned towards the Yi for insight. My question was " Oracle for the current conditions in my life?". I received hexagram 10 with lines 1,3,4,5,6 changing into hexagram 46.

My interpretation is that I have to watch my step to to be able to take the next step in my life.to Not the most eloquent interpretation but it's the one that came to me when I first received the hexagrams. I now turn to this forum for help in interpreting the answer I received from the Yi. Any input would be appreciated.:bows:

You haven't given much information here on your situation. However, the reading seems to show there will be some advance and progress for you. So perhaps it is changing because there is to be some growth. Whether that's growth within or without. The advice is to seek council from someone experienced. Is there a supervisor that would be of some help? Again, I do not know your situation. It seems you may be moving on from somewhere or someone. But this will bring progress. Changes are not always easy to go through, because of the fear of the unknown. But change is necessary and can also be looked at as an adventure. If only we see the opportunities available, then we advance one step at a time. I don't think you have too much to worry about here.

Everything depends on how you conduct yourself, your sense of decorum and etiquette. Maybe there are difficult people to deal with. Employ politeness to deal with them.

There are several different ways to interpret multiple moving lines. In this case, I think events will unfold in the sequence of the moving lines, from bottom to top. That means that at the beginning you will suffer some misfortune: you step on the tiger's tail and get bitten by the tiger (10.3). After that, things go better for you.

Hexagram 46 indicates a rising tide or promotion of your interests, but it does not come by itself. You have to make an effort and climb every step of the way.

You're right.Perhaps a little background info would help.

For starters, I'm getting ready to leave my job. I'm just going through the motions, my heart isn't in it anymore. I also feel a need to change my life. All of it. Relationships, daily routine, spiritually etc. The Yi is right that I should be careful in how I do this. Just burning all my bridges and getting the hell out doesn't seem to be an appropriate response to my situation. Although it's incredibly tempting. As to hexagram 46, it's the one that intrigues me. It speaks of going up, step by step. Maybe I should set higher goals for myself?

When you get more changing lines in a hexagram, that means the situation is more unstable. You got 5 changing lines in this case, so certainly your life is changing!

Hex 10 means "step with good manners", which shows that you did well in your lifer or at work. So you have made good progress in your life and career. Good luck!
