Sharing a reading from a while ago.

I had a leisure day and was thinking about going to visit some friends. I was thinking about two in particular. I threw a cast:
What about visiting them today?

Of higher worth is one’s service.

I found that odd, hmm.

I phoned friend #1, they had just reunited with their lover after a spat and was making up & spending the day together.

I phoned friend #2, they didn't answer.
(later found out, they also were spending the day with a lover.)

hmm,

An hour later, I received a call from a 90 year old woman that I help take care of sometimes.
She needed to go to the hospital and wanted me to take her. I rushed out and took care of her.

So, it's interesting that the love between lovers and caring for the elderly is of high value. Isn't it written that the human Tao is called Love?

18.6 is about not doing something because it is required by law or custom, but because you think it good to do yourself. Also because in it's position as the top line in the hex of repairing things, it indicates most of the repair work has been done.
Two of your calls were to folks at that stage of repair in their relationships.
The third call was to help an elderly person herself go to the hospital (repair), and you didn't have to help but you did anyway.
