Settle with gf? 14.2>30

Hello all,
I have been dating a lady for around a month now, we are a similar age, have things in common and we have seen eachother almost every day. I have been working abroad for a good few years now and have felt a bit directionless and would like to think we could plan for a future together. However, she has told me she will be moving away with (embassy) work in the next year or two and has hinted she would like me to join her. I have had a few seemingly 'negative' IC readings when I ask about us although some more positive ones too. This particular reading has come up a couple of times now which made me pay attention:

What if I settle with my gf? 14.2>30

The analogy of a great chariot and direction to go seems fairly obvious. Might anyone else have any thoughts on this? Thanks for any feedback with this.

i feel IC is trying to say moving away with her wouldn't be bad at all.

Hexagram 30.. hmmm clarity, i would imagine it to be an indication of a good sign.

But i am not sure about that, would love to hear opinions from others!

Wow, what a lovely reading for this situation. I've received 14.2 a few times in my life and each time it was a signal of something extremely auspicious. My sense is, this move would bring you great clarity (30), and many opportunities (14.2). Even if the relationship doesn't work out longterm-- and this reading tends to make me think that it will, actually-- the move will be beneficial.

Thank you for those really useful replies. I agree it looks positive. I have had a more negative reading though which bothers me a bit: What if I commit to my gf: 39.3.4.5> 16
There's a lot of limping going on in this reading! Ok I know we have only been together a couple of months but I can feel we will have some longevity as we are inseperable so far. Maybe my gf represents the 'great people' mentioned in the oracle of 39 and as also mentioned in line 5? Does 39 always have to be 'negative'?

Wait, have you read those lines for 39...? What translation are you using? They are really not bad at all. And, no, 39 is not always negative. Read the lines carefully! 39.3: being reckless about facing danger out in the world is bad; turning back to your kin and family (ie, girlfriend) is good. 39.4: forging ahead independently is bad; holding back and building ties with useful and trustworthy companions (ie, girlfriend) is good. 39.5: you're not alone, and even when in great difficulty, you have friends who will come help you (ie, girlfriend!). Msmith, this is an auspicious reading. Times may get difficult in life, but if you commit to your girlfriend you will have an ally and a helper who will see you through thick and thin. 16 is positive too. You have great energy, love, and enthusiasm for each other. She sounds like a keeper, and this seems like a real partnership.

The other part of hex 14 is in your character of "virtue of unselfish modesty", graceful and controlled. If you are handling yourself in the right way then it is not a decision is not about settling but is this relationship something that will create huge life changes. Do you know enough to make that decision? Since you have a year or two before she moves then why be concerned with this question after 1month...

My interpretation is that if you weigh out all of pros and cons you will know what to do because you are clear about your relationship and the potential future that lies qhead, grounded in your decision, certain about the relationship...until you have more information the decision is about settling versus what is the right thing to do.

If you make a decision based on the right reasons then you can go and do anything without mistake....even if the relationship in the end does not work out. This is because you are certain about what and who you are. Part of life is the experience in taking risks
