should I answer with sarcasm or should I just let it go?

hi everyone, the reason of the question is that my parents forced me to write to a teacher about how i thank him but thank him of what??? i really didn't need anything back... well...he said i was good and all and he allowed himself to mock and tease me (at the end of the letter).now my parents are happy , i guess...im quite angry now so i asked if i should answer sarcastically to that email or if its ok if i ignore it (even if im bothered about the teasing because well, you were my teacher but not my friend!!!)18.4 to 50well the line speaks about something wasted from the father...my parents...all their fault! they insulted me because they are so subservient and obsessed with formal things, they made me feel guilty and rude if i didn't...So i did a short but sincere thanking letter...And what i gained were congratulations (wow,as if i was feeling bad without them......) and the final teasing which didn't make me ''ahah''. 50 is the cauldron and it's about knowledge, perhaps it says I would make some witty comment but I don't know, i don't feel good to write that ''friendly'' way for the moment.line 18.4 speaks about correcting something ruined from the father... uhm... So the i ching is saying I should write something?

A 'thank you' letter that leads to an argument. That would be funny ;) No, better leave it. You said 'thank you', that is not a bad thing. It is not your problem if the teacher responded inappropriate -- as long as he didn't insult you.
