Recently I've come across an old friend of mine I've known for over 10 years. We both had different experiences and lived in different cities because of university, so sometimes we had times when we didn't see or talk to each other even for several months.

Despite this, every time we see again it's like we just left the day before. It's just incredible how our energies connect and I feel no need to demonstrate anything to her, I'm just who I am with her and she likes my way of being. Yesterday we've met again after very long time, I'm coming from (and actually am) a very dark period, my life just collapsed in every possible way and I need to start recollecting and put pieces together again, so I wasn't in a really good shape.. Despite this.. seems she could just see beyond my appearance (first thing she said was: how beautiful are you! And for sure I wasn't very good looking) and we had a great time together: without intention she helped me to see a little bit of light again and she told me that my presence helped to alleviate her physical problems (when we left she felt sick again).

I'm not sure if I'm just getting attached to the only person who was nice to me in this dark period or if something can blossom between us. Through the years we had our different love experiences, tried several partners and seems things just didn't go well for us on this side. Now we just meet again in a period where we are both free and not engaged with someone else. So maybe the circumstances are giving us a little chance to connect deeper. She's a very special person to me and I just don't want to **** this up. I need some advice to understand the current struggle of my heart.

The question is strangely worded. You can't possibly love her, since you don't know her closely. I believe the cast refers to you not being clear-minded about this. 29 is a danger which you've been through before. Do you have a tendency to enter relationships too hastily?

That's a great point. And I agree with what you also wrote, "The potential for a loving relationship has been there for a long time".
For sure there's potential between those two people. However, one of them does not see it, one of them is not thinking clearly. If this person got enlightened, then both would benefit. When only this line changes, we get 29, which shows a recurring danger. So even if someone struggles to enlighten the 'king' (whoever behaves like royalty in this situation), the 'king' will just continue behaving in the same manner. That's why the line says it's a sad situation - because instead of both benefitting, the clear water isn't used.
