I'm doing two summer semester subjects, and one in particular requires a lot of work. I'm not afraid of hard work, but this is week one of the study and I've spent three days just trying to get organised for this one subject.
I fear I have taken on too much and will fail spectacularly, particularly as the summer semester is only six weeks long so that is 12 weeks worth of work to do in 6.

It is not too late to drop out of one subject.

I asked: should I drop out of x subject? 39:3,4,5 — 16

Then I asked: What would be the outcome of dropping out of x subject? 43:4 — 5

What do you think?

Hey stilldeepwater,
The readings indicate to me that you are just panicking a bit and if you ask for help you are gonna be fine.
I think 43.4 is indicating that you might regret it if you drop the subject so just wait a bit and see how things pan out.
Any chance you want to share what you are studying. Good luck with it - Melissa

Thanks Melissa,

I've taken some time to reflect on the throw, and my own feelings. I think you are right.
I'm so stressed out I've taken things too seriously. The goal is to work hard this year in order to qualify for paid placement next year - which wouldn't happen if I dropped out of this subject at this time. So you are right, it would be greatly regretted.

I'm studying communication design (which is what they call graphic design). I've gone back to study after almost 10 years in the workforce as a professional in a related field. I've finished one semester so far and gotten top top marks - I'm afraid I've stressed myself out about the potential for getting less than as best as possible. This may sound strange, but it is a big investment for me financially, emotionally, socially etc to go back to study and I want to do the absolute best I possibly can.

I'll wait a wee bit and see how things pan out :)
