Should I end it? 30.6 > 55

I asked the I Ching if I should call it quits with someone I've been seeing the past couple of months...
Initially, it was so fun. Beautiful! But now I reckon this person is seeing other people and although we are both within our rights too, I'm wondering as to whether we should continue the way we are and have fun - let it fizzle out. Or if I should just end things now before I get in too deep.
What would your interpretations of 30.6 (Clarity) and 55 (Abundance) be?

Apologies! Thank you ��One of my interpretations of 30.6 is to start cutting ties without making a huge show of it? Make a decision and have clarity on the situation. No grand talk or anything - which leads to 55 - the relief and happiness I’ll feel afterwards. Happy for the times we had - “be like the sun at midday”But another interpretation of 30 would be to be passive and docile like the cow and cling to the situation like fire, in order to be happy. So I’m quite confused about how to take it! All other interpretations welcome

This line seems to be to do with having a clear vision of what the main issues are and dealing with them rather than fussing about the details or peripheral aspects.


If there was one key aspect of his behaviour that bothers you you could aim to eradicate that by talking to him perhaps.


55, the backdrop to the whole question, suggests for sure you have all the evidence you need to take action. You already have clarity of vision on this, no more new bits of information need to be taken into account. So when the king has complete clarity, so much clarity he can march out and take action he decides to kill off the main problem, he kills the chief but he doesn't go and kill all the followers because really without their chief they have no power.



Your interpretation could be true and it means you execute the relationship but you don't do more harm than that. You don't hold on to any smaller side issues that aren't really relevant any more.


It could also indicate as I said that there is one factor in the way of this relationship and if you can kill that off maybe it can resume ? If he is seeing others then if he wants to stay with you that has to stop dead right now, that would be the 'execution' in the line. Maybe once that issue is sorted things can go on. But this also might mean it's time to end.


I think if you want to save the relationship it is time for an ultimatum. You march out like the king and decide what you want and tell him either it's going to be this way or I'm done. Either way you can trust your clarity of vision. It's not time to wait but to act.
