Should I look for a job?

Hello dear people,

I am having some struggle with money lately... like so many of us! This month has been specially difficult so far as I am struggling to pay my rent and other vital bills.

I started working independently some time ago and money has not come easily lately. I really like what I am doing and would love to keep with my current plans, but money still is not coming...

I asked to the I Ching "what if I go to look for a job? Is it what I need to do?" and its response was 29.1.3 moving to 5. For what I was reading, it seems to me that the advice is wait, not do anything at the moment... Is it?

Then I asked "what if I keep my current working plan, is it what I need to do?" and its response was 29.1.2, moving to 3. It was interesting to receive the same hexagram for these questions, and I think it is reflecting my inner state about the situation itself.

I am not sure about the advice here. I asked one last question "what do I need to do in order to increase my income constantly" and the response was 7.4 moving to 40.

Well, I will really appreciate your input on these readings... perhaps I can find a solution.

Hey Dani, here's how I see and I comment because to me it seemed of easy comprehension:

29.1.3>>> your current situation is very difficult (dangerous), but if you go ahead (and look for a job) you'll be imprisioned and suffer with it. It would suggest you get habbituated to your current position, being precise in your actions, acting softly (like water), low profile.
5>>> yours is not an empty hope.
29.1.2 would reiterate the advise to slow anxiety to harvest at this moment, accepting what you have with serenity.
3>>> although you are in difficulties you would overcome. Growing times bring some difficulty. Perhaps looking for help can work.
7.4>>> discipline to gather patrimony. Act on this. Accept it.
40>>> bad times are over. Just watch your step and if you see any problem ahead, just act quickly.

Hope I'm not being banal in my reading.

It suggests no matter how bad your situation is, you are advised not to bother looking for a job as you won't get anywhere with it. Something will turn up in due course.

Yes, keep to your current plans, it is very difficult now but give it some time and things will pick up again. Hex 3 likens your situation to growing pains, you are going through a difficult period but eventually things will improve, and it advises you to seek help with what you are planning to do, as you can't do it alone.

The line says to back off as anything that you try and do at the moment won't work.
