Hi to all,
The words 'learn sign lanuage' keep coming into my thoughts.
As I am studying and looking to work in the community services sector I am wondering if this is a hint into what area I shld specialise in, so I asked
Shld I learn sign language and rec'd
(I know questions with yes/no answers aren't the best)
Hex 50.3.5>6

which appears very relevant to the ears but Hex 6? conflict/arguing.

Six in the fifth place means:
The ting has yellow handles, golden carrying rings.
Perseverance furthers.

6. Sung / Conflict

Describes someone who cannot hear or communicate in the usual way, someone who would be your client, someone who could benefit from your knowing how to sign.

50.5
The ting has golden carrying handles...etc.

"carrying handles" = hands that know how to sign can transport knowledge like golden handles can transport the wisdom of the ting.

6. Conflict
A person can only go so far on his own. To advance further than he can go alone he needs to co-ordinate his efforts with others.
He should be very clear what he is agreeing to.
"If rights and duties are exactly defined, or if in a group, the spiritual trends of the individuals harmonize, the cause of conflict is removed in advance."

Taken all together these ideas suggest to me that an endeavor dedicated to improving communication harmonizes with the spiritual trends of our time and therefore - since The Universe was created so Spirit could communicate with Itself better - learning sign language is in keeping with what is appropriate for you at this time.

I think there is a sub-suggestion that you consider what is the community you might be serving and study with that community in mind.

Thanks for asking, I hadn't really figured out my reasoning before just blurting out an answer. It was a good exercise to spell it out. Thank you gato for writing out your reasoning. I learned from it.:bows:

Thks for replying Gato and Rosada,
Rosada's makes more sense to me at this point so I am going to continue to seek out ways to learn.
If things happen in a easy natural way then I believe it is the right way and/or all part of the process to get where you wanna be.
Will let you know what comes about.

I have just come across a course that is running at a Tafe 45 minutes from me so I have enquired and will let u know what happens.

And what happened was I started the course at the beginning of this year and it was crap so after 3 lessons I stopped and learnt a bit of signing myself but have gone nowhere with it - so maybe in this instance Gato's answer was the most appropriate.
