Hi everyone,

I have for many years some skin problems. I tried to manage this problem, gone seen some (perhaps too much!) doctors and could not find any solution for now.
You know, I'm a teacher and, seing this problem on my face is quite difficult to me.

So I asked yi for a solution:

what should I do to heal: 57.1.5.6 26

and some time later, asked again: 50

So, Id'like, if you please, have your insight cause this problem touch me deeply.

Hope you may help me :)

Thanks for your help.

What should I do to heal?
57.1.5.6 > 26

You might try a gluten-free diet for a short while to see if your problem improves. 57 is double Xun, suggesting plant material, and 26 in my view suggests storage of grain, thus the idea of wheat. And 50 suggests diet.

Diet will cure you as it did with me as the skin reflects the vitality of our organs.

I myself found that no dairy products (milk free products) is the solution.
Avoiding chocolate, salami, tomatoes and sugars also helps but cheese and milk are among the first types of food you should eliminate as they're not meant for adults and all rich in antibiotics and hormones and stuff like that (what the cow eats and gets, her milk gets as well)

After years of severe terrible acne I have some beautiful spotless skin
:flirt:

raw vegetable and fruit juices help immensely!
but not the industrial fruit juices you buy in old fashioned shop of course

bye. off to bed

Should or shouldn't eat - um who says that, each to their own. I use the blood type diet because it suits me, it's not an exact science for me but it sure as hell has made a difference to my health.
It works for me but I would never say you should use it too. - Liss

Hello!

I thank you all for your experience and your comments about my health issue, with some delay, I apologize. I was on holiday with no network.

I simply ask myself wether diet is sufficient in itself or I should help with some therapy? I don't think there is an answer in my first answer 57.1.5.6.

With 50 is dieting only a matter of food or is it also some metaphor about my life?

Thank you for your answers and have a nice day.

Often when I get 50 unchanging I am worrying a lot, and so I think the I Ching is saying not to worry. Also, your top line moving in 57 indicates that you might be asking too many questions regarding your skin condition . . . and that the effect of that will be a kind of powerlessness, a "crawling beneath the bed."

You know, the I Ching cannot speak and say "Drink fresh juices" or "Eliminate wheat from your diet." That is the problem with using the I Ching for medical issues. The answers cannot be interpreted readily.

I think you need to decide on a course of action and then put it into practice and later evaluate the results. Keep trying and eventually you will succeed! :)

I don't have so much experience with I Ching but what I see is that hex. 57 consists of 2 wind trigrams (one of the name of the hexagram is also 'The Penetration of the Wind').

Considering Traditional Chinese Medicine, skin problems such as chronic eczema or hair loss are related to wind patterns when internal wind (caused e.g. by the result of emotional frustration or prolonged illness) affects the surface of the body so I think that seeing a TCM therapist could be helpful.
The method of treatment consists of acupuncture and a regular herbal regimen, you'd also receive diet advice. I hope it helps. :) Kafuka
