Sorry you deleted this, hopex. There are many new, active members of Clarity. It's important that they be given a chance at first go, so usually I do not hazard a reading until there are 0 replies and the dating says 'Yesterday'.

Thank you Pocossin - I tend to panic if i get no replies
and think i have exposed myself

basically i asked the Yi how I should respond to some
litigation that came up this week. The party seems to
be shopping round courts and using different solicitors
- it was discontinued last august and they did not serve
me this time - nor the last time. Since they have been
dishonest I did not want to barge in, but think tactics.:bows:

ps I mulled on lines 3 and 4 which seemed to imply
I should consult my own wit about how to proceed.
I have approached a solicitor.

line 6 seems to say they will trip themselves up in some
way and that I should seek union with someone?

also is it true that one should cast again if you get 8
for more insight on the initial casting.? Well I did and
got 43 which speaks of not bottling things up but
speaking up in the Kings Chamber which suggests
communicating strongly in court?

No, it is not.

That is a common misconception created IMHO by a wrong translation of the text.

Of course, you're free to do it. But it is not like you should.

Yes Dragona and I asked Yi best way to handle it

the response was 33 retreat - which was apt as I
was about to send a lot of info over to them.

lines 3 and 4 suggest keeping my own counsel,
while line 6 and hexagram 8 might suggest getting
help?

33 Retreat -
This could mean to seek an adjournment - postpone proceedings. Maybe gather more information, do some research and put off the battle for a while. In fact cheerfully drag things out as long as possible. Line 3 - this will bother them, maybe as they have to keep lawyers on retainer or people assigned to the case. Line 4 - delay is bad for them, will be their downfall. Line 6 - Everything about slowing things down is going to make you happy.

Hex 8 Holding Together -
This makes me think there are other people involved in the same situation as you with them, maybe in separate litigation. If you all join together, it might drag them down when you pool your knowledge and resources - and drain their resources and patience.

I am not a lawyer and this should not be considered qualified legal advice. However, I have defeated traffic tickets by delaying proceedings until the officer retired, and was no longer available to testify against me in court. And thanks to the Court Attorney I buttonholed, who let me in on that info!

Hi, hopex, was very late to respond, but lavalamp has it covered ;)
I was thinking along these lines that Yi is offering you an strategy of an retreat as it is something you did not want to get into now and it is a neusence you don`t really care for.
If someone is renewing their case, your retreating from it and stalling they will not be happy about, I should say. That is another reason to do it.:mischief:
Especially if 6th line says it will bring you sucess, not to mention save your nerves.
Hex 8 may be about the need to come to an agreement on this point and it may be even settled quietly in the future?
Just my thoughts, d.

Usually we retreat from heavy situations so as not to become angry and exhausted by them. Maybe you'd like to retreat right away, but that would leave other people in jeopardy, so you have to stay put for the other ones. There will be a middle period in which you should just try to do the absolute minimum. At the end, however, you might just decide you need to take a vacation or otherwise just get away from this court case. Line 6 moving often does indicate a vacation -- or, anyway, the need for one!
