Hello forum,

I have been trying to understand where do I stand on a situation that brings me a lot of confusion. I cannot see with clarity even when I try so I am asking the I Ching as last resource... :bag: Is it possible for you to help me interpreting these three questions?

1.- General diagnosis of the relation between X and I (35.3.4/52)
2.- What he wants from our relationship? (2.1.2.6/41)
3.- What I really want from our relationship? (4.2.3/52)
4.- I Ching advice for me about this relationship (37.2.6/5)

35 is about advancing through obedience. Line 3 indicates that you attract others without conscious effort. Line 4 seems to indicate that you may be overdoing things a bit, not being aware of your natural attraction. The transformed hexagram explains how you can work on overdoing things, by not "overstepping your position".
Your other questions, and their answers, can only float in the shadow of the above answer, since they cover the same ground. I would take the answer to the first question as a lead for next questions, going closer to the core of your own approach in this relationship.

Just in case the comment could be useful

1.- General diagnosis of the relation between X and I (35.3.4/52)

The time to achieve progress by cooperation in this relationship started in February 2009; and will last until January 2010

Both lines are in the past:
Line 3 ruled from June to July 2009..this was a good time in the relation. "All are in accord. Remorse disappears" Seems like the dificulties are rooted in far past, but there was a posibility to enmed them in that summer.

But then (line 4), something happened between August and September: egoism?, lack of honesty? secret actions? economic disputes? In any case, the light is lost.

Now. from december2009 to January 2010, the line 6 is active: "Making progress with the horns is permissible Only for the purpose of punishing one's own city. To be conscious of danger brings good fortune. No blame. Perseverance brings humiliation." Beware of agresive behavior. Are you fighting a lot? are you blaming one to each others a lot? The relation NEEDS to be enmend, yes; but with light and care. There is danger for the relation

(You may ask: if the present is line 6, why Yi doesn't just give me 35.6 as the answer?. It is this way, to make you review what happened between June -September 2009 in the relation. Even if those facts are in the past, you wont solve the present -the time to correct- until you understand and solve what happened then)

2.- What he wants from our relationship? (2.1.2.6/41)

He wants to reduce the heavy baggage in the relation; to reduce anger and conflict. But he doesn't seems to take any lead in here. Just being open to reality and expecting to be leaded.

3.- What I really want from our relationship? (4.2.3/52)

Above all, you want to find calm and stability in the relation. And you are wondering if it is time to stop in order to avoid a greater pitfall.
