Hi everyone,
I just asked the Yi some questions. Take a look at the logical progression of these answers!
Questions #1 - What will happen with my relationship with "her"?
Answer: 63 Chi Chi - Completion - no lines changing.
I take this answer to mean that our relationship has moved into a new phase. Things are starting a new. What ever that means may have been answered by the following:
Question #2 - What does 63 mean for my relationship with "her"?
Answer: 24 Fu - The Turning Point - no lines changing.
Interesting! I take it that this could (emphasis could) mean that we may be turning back towards one another (we have been taking it cool for a while - staying platonic - no romance - good friends). Could be positive!
So I asked a final question for tonight....
Question #3 - What does 24 mean for my relationship with "her"?
Answer - 50 Ting - The Cauldron with lines 2, 3 and 6 changing to 16 Yu - Enthusiasm.
Very interesting.....Here goes my (amateur) interpretation...
50 means good fortune - a vessel, a crucible in which things are brewed, cooked, developed, etc.
16 means enthusiam - often meaning attraction and can be looked at in an intimate manner....
What I have difficulty interpreting is the lines in 50. Can I intepret 2 to be that there is an opportunity, and others may want that opportunity, but they cannot have it (a metaphor for the relationship)? I read 3 as being that the relationship will be different from before. Any input from anyone about this? Line 6 just says to me that the cauldron is very valuable (as is the relationship) and that good fortune will come to the relationship.
All in all, I see this as a good trend for our relationship. Perhaps even a resumption of romance, or a progression of our relationship to a higher level.
So, am I off base with these? I would appreciate any feedback and insight that anyone could provide.
